Pretty great monitor
It works great. Almost too good. No wonder everyone gives it five stars. It’s just a nice affordable external monitor that’s 1080p. I film airplanes and stuff, well actually I’m starting to and this thing works great with my 600 mm lens on my Sony A7S II. I can see airplanes miles out right in front of my face on the monitor. It has tons of extra settings and I’m not a photography or video professional by any means. I don’t know what all of it means. It’s just a really good monitor. Highly recommended. The battery that I got with the first unit was bad. Is what it is. The monitor itself is pretty amazing though. It’s really easy to use even though there’s all those extra settings. It’s extremely bright during the day too. You don’t miss anything in direct sunlight.

Bright and Crisp, Ideal for Sunny Outdoor Shooting
I’m really pleased with the crisp resolution and vibrant brightness of this display, especially how well it pairs with both my Nikon Z8 and D750. My main surprise was its weight – it’s definitely beefier than I anticipated, making a camera support rig a must-have for any handheld work. For video, it’s a dream with absolutely no lag, but still photographers should be aware that the screen goes black for a couple of seconds after every shot, which can interrupt your flow.

Great Monitor for Mirrorless AND Mirrored DSLR Cameras
JUST WOW! Love it. However, go ahead and order another battery, preferably bigger than the one that comes with it. The included battery goes quickly. GREAT image quality with a ton of tools. The best part is that it works with my Nikon D5500. The less expensive brands available on Amazon will not communicate with the older mirrored DSLRs. This one does without issue. Also works with my mirrorless cameras. (Nikon Z6 and Sony ZV-1. Well built and good quality.

Excellent Monitor with SDI Support — Minor UX Flaws but Solid Value
I’ve been using this VILTROX DC-X3 monitor to complete my rig built around the Lumix S5X2, and overall, it’s a strong performer, especially for the price. The SDI out is a huge win, particularly when paired with SDI transmitters like the Hollyland Mars 4K. Color reproduction is excellent right out of the box, and the 2000 nits brightness makes it totally usable outdoors with the included sun hood.Pros:—SDI out works flawlessly— Great for pro workflows gorgeous color grading and exposure tools— Very usable in daylight4K HDMI input and touch UI make navigation fast— LUT support is smooth and intuitiveCons:—Menu HUD feels clunky and a bit outdated—No numerical scale on false color limits its usefulness — Focus peaking is hard to see, even when boosted— DC barrel input lacks a locking thread, which is disappointing, I recommend using USB-C power instead.For a mid-tier on camera monitor, this is a great value, especially if you need SDI in your setup. While the interface and monitoring tools could be improved, it nails the essentials. I’d recommend it for videographers building a professional mirrorless rig on a budget.

Ok but worthless mount
So far the monitor works ok.The supplied mount is totally worthless, though. It’s so stiff that it can’t be tilted without a lot of applied force which you can’t really do when it’s attache to a camera or even to the monitor.

Turns out this products is actually really good. Good build quality of the monitor, lots of functions and great image quality. The sun hood is very good as well and protects the screen when closed. The sturdy case it comes with is great too!Only downsides are the cheap looking and feeling cold shoe mount. I replaced that immediately with one from SmallRig. Also, there’s no consistency in design and aesthetic to the whole package. The cold shoe mount is cheap black plastic with black metal parts, the battery is pure white and the monitor is hard grey plastic (but feels very sturdy). It all looks a bit goofy when combined. The HDMI cable is not angled either, so I replaced that too, with a 90 degree angled + coiled cable.All in all I bought it for the monitor only of course, and that thing absolutely rocks! For the price, you probably won’t get a better deal. But you probably want to replace some of the other accessories that come with it.

Très bon produit !Parfaitement lisible, même par fort éclairage extérieur, il me permet d’affiner au mieux mes mises au point manuelles, ce que ne permet presque pas – ou alors avec de très bons yeux – l’écran intégré de mon appareil photoSa versatilité pour son alimentation est un atout (batterie NP-Fxxx, jack 6V et même USB-C)Il y a par ailleurs pleins de fonctions utiles aux vidéastes mais qu’il va me falloir apprendre à maitriser 😉 et on peut affecter celles qu’on utilise le plus à des boutons de fonction… très pratiqueTous les accessoires sont fournis (batterie, pare-soleil ingénieux, support cold shoe, câbles HDMI…), ce qui n’est pas toujours le cas avec d’autres marques, pour un prix final très abordableMon seul regret, c’est que certaines fonctionnalités exploitent la totalité de l’écran alors que la sortie vidéo n’en prend qu’une partie.C’est le cas pour la fameuse grille de composition des “tiers” qui n’est pas adaptée au format 4/3 étant nativement en 16/9. Je reviens donc, au prix de manipulations, à celle de l’appareil photo. Dommage mais pas catastrophique non plusDonc un bon moniteur externe, pour conclure

Il picco di luminosità a 2000nits è fantastico anche alla luce del sole e se non bastassero, viene fornito anche un parasole.Nella confezione troverete:Il monitor da 6” con un picco di luminosità di 2000nits, ottimo quando girerete alla luce del sole.Un parasole che crea ombra sullo schermo, molto utile in condizioni estreme.Una batteria NP-F550 con ricarica usb-c e un indicatore luminoso per lo stato di carica.Un supporto per monitor con attacco per la slitta della camera, orientabile sia in verticale che in orizzontale.2x Cavi HDMI – HDMI / HDMI – mini HDMI1x Cavo usb-c per ricaricare la batteria.Pur essendo un monitor con una risoluzione da 1080×1920 restituisce un’immagine molto dettagliata e fedele ai colori visualizzati in camera, avete comunque la possibilità di installare le vostre LUT, quindi molto utile per avere un controllo dell’immagine finale nel caso in cui giriate in LOG/RAW.Il menù è vasto e permette diverse personalizzazioni, grazie anche ai vari tasti presenti sul lato superiore che vi permettono di aggiungere delle scorciatoie per le funzioni più importanti.Per il costo che ha è sicuramente un prodotto super valido se non si hanno troppe pretese.Spero che in un futuro riescano ad aggiungere più supporto per le varie camere in modo da avere la possibilità di andare in REC direttamente dal monitor o di vedere un riquadro rosso quando la ripresa è avviata.

Soy filmmaker/videografo y llevaba un tiempo buscando un monitor calidad precio de mas de 1800 nits, fácil de usar y que tuviera entradas sdi. Amazon me recomendaba este producto, pero no conocía muy bien la marca. Me arriesgue y gané. Estoy super contento con la compra, se ve de locos, fácil de usar, el pack está super completo y, con eso, me ganaron.
