This baby gate is worth every penny! It’s the third gate we’ve tried so far, and it’s the best yet. We needed a reliable, tension-based gate, and this one exceeded our expectations. The fact that it’s made from 100% recycled plastic is a huge plus, and you genuinely can’t tell it’s renewable plastic—it looks great and is super durable.The height is perfect for our household; at 5′ tall, I’m able to go over it easily without my kids doing so. It provides a secure fit for our doorways and hallways. It’s very easy to use; the lever makes opening and closing the gate simple. Our little ones tried to climb on it once (we won’t test that again!), and it never fell, which is awesome and shows just how sturdy it is. Best of all, the tension-based mounting caused no damage to the wall paint. This is a high-quality, reliable gate that I highly recommend.

Functions Well, Easy To Install and Operate
Although I don’t think this is a five star gate, it is perfect for what I need it to do. It is lightweight and fairly small so it’s easy to maneuver. I keep compression gates that are semi permanent in certain doorways and hallways. The problem is that some of my pets (dogs and cats) are able to jump over those gates. This gate is perfect for using as a second gate above the first gate. It goes up in seconds, and comes down even quicker that way my little jumpers stay on the right side of the fence. This gate is perfect for my double gate situation, but I would probably want something a little heavier if it was my primary gate at floor level. Still, I find this gate, very helpful and would definitely buy again, especially since it is made from recycled plastics. This gate functions well and is easy to install and operate.

Really easy to install and move around
I absolutely love that this Toddleroo Renew Baby Gate is made right here in the USA from 100% recycled plastic, it’s a fantastic eco-friendly choice. Setting it up was genuinely stress-free; the pressure-mounted design meant I didn’t have to drill any holes, which is a huge plus for my doorways. The warning text does say to use the provided tabs on the wall for better stability but I felt the rubber bumpers were sufficient. It feels incredibly sturdy and I’ve been able to move it effortlessly from my living room entry door to the room making it perfect at keeping my baby safe. Overall, this gate gives me complete peace of mind, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a durable and responsible safety solution.

Great for doorway but not optimal for stairway
More of a set it and forget it type of plastic baby gate. It is neat that its made from recycled plastic and does have a firm grip when attached between a narrow passage like a doorway or hallway but opening and closing the mechanism isn’t the smoothest and requires you to kind of build it up right so it doesn’t tilt over even with that attachments on the wall, it doesn’t seem as practical as a gate with railings that attach to top or bottom to keep the gate up-right. But as a set it up and just leave it closed it works great to keep the baby or even a small animal enclosed in a room or hallway so they can’t get into trouble!

Sturdy and Quality Made
Not for a human baby, but my special-needs dog needs gates around the house separating rooms off from the rest of the house for his safety, so I was really excited to give this one from Toddleroo. Upon first receiving this gate and inspecting it, I could tell it was quality made and definitely sturdy. In a world of cheaply made products, I think it speaks volumes to say I trusted it to use it. I would feel the same if I was using this for a human baby. I appreciated the included door jam fittings, but for my peace of mind and application they weren’t needed. The gate has a great amount of tension keeping it in the door jam. Unlike traditional gates which can sometimes be flimsy and easily expanded out of their tensioned state, this gate has a small plastic hook in the tensioner that essentially locks it into its tensioned place. I feel very confident in this gate to work as advertised and keep my fur-baby safely separated from dangerous areas in my home.

This Pure White gate is a clean, non-obtrusive solution to a very pressing toddler problem: newly discovered stairs. My almost one-year-old’s favorite new hobby is attempting to summit the staircase, and this gate has effectively halted his climbing career.
