This bowl is very useful for my mother who has dementia. When she lifts her spoon towards her, it is amazing how the food usually falls back in to the spoon. I say “usually” as it’s not perfect, but it’s better than usual bowls. I use it every day. The only feature that needs to be improved is the suction part that keeps it stationary. My mother keeps separating the two parts. Frustrating! It needs something to keep the two parts together.

slightly larger and better suction
purchased several plates that just had a rubber ring on the bottom that kept falling off and getting lost. These have a much better suction cup and it’s interchangeable with some bowls.

Nice size but
If you are looking for a plate with a lip to keep messes from spilling off the plate these will work. BUT, if you were hoping that the plate couldn’t be easily removed from the suction base so the caree can’t dump its contents, these won’t work. The suction cup stays attached to the flat surface while the plate easily came off the suction cup. Still have value if your caree doesn’t try to pick it up.
