Took this on full day hike and used a thermometer to check and milk stayed below 49F for entire day from freezer to fridge. The increased 22oz capacity meant I could store two full pumping sessions without rushing to find a fridge. The two separate 11oz bottles are genius which makes it convenient to use. The bottles screw securely into the cooler so nothing shifts in overhead bins. It is easy to carry and easy to wash with hot water. The material is durable and lightweight. Will use this for every trip.

EDIT: brought down to 4 stars because I’m noticing it causes some freezing of the liquid if left in for more than a few hours, which i don’t want. Will experiment with having one bottle filled with water at the bottom to see if filling the canister helps prevent freezing, otherwise you’d possibly need something thin around the bottles to slightly reduce how cold it gets.Ordered this cooler thinking it would be a great solution for bringing around prepared powdered formula for baby when we’re out and she may need to eat. My milk supply is low so I’m never 100% sure how much she’ll need as a top up, and bringing pre-portioned scoops of formula plus extra water is just a hassle. Although this solution is bulkier, it’s also less guesswork and requires minimal prep, while allowing us to feed baby as much as she needs with minimal to no waste (we already prepare larger batches of formula about 2-3x a day).The inner rings need to be frozen for 12 hours at least before use per instructions. I tested this out with a bottle of water to see if it would reach the required safe temperature (4C/40F or below) for prepared formula and breast milk. First used a room temp bottle and after a few hours it still hadn’t reached the temp, was a few degrees warmer. Tried it again after cooling the water in the fridge and left the chilled bottle in the cooler for maybe 8 hours. Checked the water temp a few times and it consistently hovered just above 0 degrees, cooler than what it was in the fridge! I only used the one bottle, and I wouldn’t have a need for both bottles filled, so I can’t attest to its capabilities with more than one bottle containing liquid. But I feel confident at least for previously refrigerated liquid that the cooler will help it maintain a safe temperature.Overall it’s easy to use but the bottles inside can be a bit hard to screw on and off sometimes. Pretty easy to open up the container itself and it’s great that there are 2 openings so you can open it just wide enough to remove the bottles only. The handle is comfortable and the entire item feels very sturdy. I like the look of it too, and it can be used in the future for other purposes which makes its value worth the cost (about $60 CAD) compared to similar designs. I feel safer spending a little extra for a bottle with wrap around icing feature which I think will keep the temperature more even throughout.

Works as intended without any issues. Used it while out and i need to pump to store milk. Also.used it to keep bottles cool when we didnt have access to a fridge. It definitely did that without issues. I think this is a much needed item for most moms who are breastfeeding or pumping. I even used it over night to see if it lasted and it kept my milk cool from 10pm to 7am.

This seems solid for pumping on the go. I found the large top part (to remove the ice packs) to be difficult to maneuver and it cross-threaded a lot. The small top is convenient for popping the bottles in and out and keeping the cooling packs in. The cooler packs are solid and a little heavy. I didn’t see any gel moving around in them when I examined them. Apart from having some difficulty getting the larger top on and off, I think this is a great cooler bottle, usable for more than just breast milk. It is a nice colour and not obvious in its design so as to be more discreet if you’re using it for another purpose.
