What type of Wi-Fi network is required for setup?
This camera requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band to connect. It is not compatible with 5GHz-only networks. Please ensure your router broadcasts a 2.4GHz signal (often found in your router’s wireless settings under a dual-band network name or a separate SSID)
Why won’t the spotlight or white lights stay on all night?
To conserve battery, the spotlight is an intelligent motion-activated light. It automatically turns off when idle to save energy, and instantly activates when motion is detected or you use Live View in the app.
Can this camera record video 24/7 continuously?
No. As a solar/battery-powered camera, it is designed to record short, event-triggered video clips when motion is detected to maximize battery life. It does not support 24/7 continuous recording. It allows for months of operation between charges.
Is a monthly subscription required to use the camera?
All core features are free. You can playback recordings by enabling Motion Alert feature without needing an SD card or subscription. If the app prompts need subscription to replay longer video, inserting a micro SD card(not included) is applicable.
How can I troubleshoot if the camera won’t connect to Wi-Fi?
Ensure your phone is on a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band. Move the camera closer to the router and verify your password. For dual-band routers, temporarily disabling the 5GHz band in your router’s settings can simplify the process.

This Camera is fantastic for their price point. The installation is very simple. They also work off a very simplistic ap. They’re solar-powered, so you never have to worry about charging. They produce clear images with zoom options. You can set it to follow motion, and it’ll automatically return to your home position. You can also save favorite positions, and you can simply click on the app to move the camera to your preferred location. The camera’s quality and image quality are great, whether it’s day or night. Additionally, it has a speaker that allows you to clearly hear on both ends. It also has a siren alarm you can set off if needed!

I recently set up a solar wireless camera around my home, and I have to say, it’s been a great addition! The installation was super easy—just mounted it on the wall, connected to Wi-Fi, and I was good to go. The solar panel keeps it charged, which is a huge relief. Great wifi camera that works with mesh Wi-Fi System
Bought a two pack of these cameras. Set up was not easy as I use a Starlink router with a 3 device mesh system so it took a while to get the camera’s working with the wi-fi properly. But customer service was responsive and sent via email additional instructions on setting up the cameras with the TP-Link system I am using.I found that removing the password on my guest wifi (2.4G) and turning off the VPN worked best for getting the cameras on-line. The camera would not automatically switch to any of the other Mesh routers so be sure the camera on the router nearest the mounting location. After connected to the Wi-Fi, reinstalled password and VPN and everything is working fine . (our house is built with thick cement walls so that impacts the Wi-Fi signal)However, now that the cameras are working, they are awesome! Very nice picture and the rotation of the camera covers a lot of area. The on/off feature of the light on the camera is nice as one camera needs light at night while the other doesn’t (too much light makes the picture blurred). Notice of motion is nice too as I can look out and see what animal has ventured into the yard!When setting up the camera I was never able to get the camera to read the QR code on my phone. I had to use the alternative method of using my smart phone to read the QR code on the device.Items were well packaged and arrived in the Philippines undamaged. Anchors and templates are included for mounting as well as USB cables for the initial charging of the cameras.Will likely buy a third camera for our upstairs patio!

Easy to set up and use, excellent value, plenty of internal battery capacity
This Cinnado camera is part of the Wansview family of cameras. They use the Wansview app to view, operate, and configure.Setup is very easy, just follow the prompts on the Wansview app EXACTLY and the camera will be up and running in under a minute. One thing to note is that battery-powered cameras such as these do not have RTSP video streaming so cannot be used with Zoneminder, but they can be used with Google Home or Alexa (I did not try either one).I bought the 2-pack and put one camera outside aiming at the rear entry door of my house, powered by the solar panel and the other camera is inside aiming at the same door and not connected to any power source (using internal battery only).The outdoor cam has a 32G micro SD card installed and is set to record motion events while the indoor cam is connected to wifi and is for viewing only. I’ve used just over half gig of storage in 24 days in the outdoor camera. When the card eventually fills the camera is set to overwrite older files.Battery life is fantastic. As a test, the indoor camera was charged with a standard USB-C phone charger for 24 hours and on 12/7/23 put into service. As of 12/26/23 the camera is still working and showing 100% battery. Even if the battery gauge is inaccurate, running 19 days so far on only it’s internal battery is amazing. The outdoor camera has never shown less than 97% battery as the solar panel keeps it charged even after a few days of cloudy and rainy conditions. Also, the outdoor camera has been set to turn on it’s white lights for 15 seconds when motion is detected so it should use more power than the indoor one. You don’t have to worry about these cameras running out of power.Picture quality is excellent. The 2K resolution combined with a good lens make these probably the best security cameras I own for video quality. I’m not sure of the lens focal length, but it does not fisheye like a 1.7mm and the view is wider than a 3mm. It’s the proper angle-of-view for typical suburban home use (in my opinion). At night the infrareds light up the area just fine and the option to turn on the white lights when motion is detected (and the video then records in color) is an added benefit.I am so impressed by these cameras that, even though I cannot link them to my Zoneminder central monitoring system via RTSP I will use internal micro SD storage and the Wansview app to have a second security ‘system’ to complement my existing Zoneminder setup. Like the other Wansview cameras I have, these B6’s so far have been operating perfectly with no glitches or lockups. I will update this review once I find out exactly how long the camera lasts on it’s internal battery. Impressive!Edit 1: I started with one of the cameras fully charged and running without the solar panel on 12/29/2023. On 2/9/2024 the battery was down to 22%, camera still working fine. Then I connected the solar panel, which was not aiming up at the southern sky — just aiming towards the east inside a screened pool enclosure — and the camera was up to 100% on 2/19/2024. I don’t have to worry about the camera running out of power!

Die Cinnado Überwachungskamera Aussen Akku Solar – 2K wurde mir kostenlos für einen Produkttest zur Verfügung gestellt. Ich versichere jedoch, dass dies keinerlei Einfluss auf meine Bewertung hat.Ich habe am 27 Mai 2025 diese Solar-Kamera als zweite Kamera auf einem Privatparkplatz montiert. Die Montage war durch die mitgelieferten Bohrschablonen (Papieraufkleber) sehr einfach. Auf die Wand kleben, durchbohren und wieder abziehen.Stromversorgung:Eine Solar Kamera war ideal, da ich dort keinen Stromanschluss habe. Das Solarmodul ist sehr klein weshalb ich zunächst Bedenken hatte. Nach fast zwei Monaten Betrieb hat sich das aber als unbegründet rausgestellt. Der Akku ist immer fast voll und wird tagsüber schnell nachgeladen. An meinem Montageort kommt vormittags für ca 2 Std Sonne auf das Solarmodul. Ich habe nie niedrigere Akkustände als 94% gesehen.Internetverbindung:Die Internetverbindung erfolgt per WLAN. Ich habe ca 10m entfernt im Haus einen WLAN Repeater sitzen, damit funktioniert es einwandfrei und stabil.AppIch hatte seit 2023 die Wansview App installiert, da ich bereits zwei GALAYOU Kameras verwende. Die Kamera hatte ich innerhalb einer Minute zur App hinzugefügt.DatenspeicherungIch nutze die App ausschließlich mit einer 128GB SD Karte und nutze nicht die Cloud. Das funktioniert zuverlässig. Über die App kann ich die Ereignisse anschauen und mir wiedergeben lassen. Mann kann einfach zwischen den Ereignissen springen, sekundengenau vor-/zurückspulen. Auch ermöglicht die App Fotos zu erstellen oder das Video vom Ereignis herunterzuladen. Wie alle Solarkameras wird nicht durchgängig aufgenommen sondern nur bei einem Ereignis/ Bewegung. Auch fehlen die ersten ca 4 Sekunden der Bewegung auf der Aufnahme. Mir hat jemand den Absperrpfosten umgefahren und ist sofort weitergefahren. Das war NICHT auf der Aufnahme zu sehen da es so schnell ging. Wenn jemand in das Bild läuft ist jedoch normalerweise ausreichend lange Bewegung, so dass man eine Aufnahme hat. Das muss bei der Wahl der Kamera beachtet werden.In einigen Rezessionen steht, dass man die Kamera ohne Abo nicht nutzen kann oder keine Videos runterladen kann. Das stimmt nicht, es funktioniert auch ohne Abo einwandfrei. (Natürlich muss man dann eine SD Speicherkarte einsetzen.)BildqualitätBildqualität ist ausreichend. Tagsüber sind Nummernschilder gut erkennbar. Nachts mit blendenden Scheinwerfern ist es etwas schwerer zu erkennen wenn man noch reinzoomen muss. Die Wiedergabe in der (Android) App ist auch im Full screen möglich. Auch ist eine schnellere Wiedergabe (bis zu 4x) möglich. Man kann auch in der App mit Fingergesten reinzoomen, jedoch nicht bei Pause sondern nur während Wiedergabe. Vor-/ Zurückspule geht bei dieser App recht gut.ZusatzfunktionenMan kann „privacy Blöcke“ einrichten welche dann Bereiche auf den Aufnahmen dauerhaft ausblenden. Die bunten Blöcke rechts oben auf meinen Fotos sind die Privacy Blöcke. Das funktioniert grundsätzlich. Die Blöcke sind aber sehr groß und immer rechteckig. Daher kann man nicht sonderlich genau Bereiche ausblenden und es stimmt auch nur, solange man die Kamera nicht dreht.

Je recherchais une caméra capable d’être autonome pour l’installer au fond de mon jardin qui n’est pas électrifié.J’ai donc fait le choix de ce modèle compatible avec l’application Wansview cloud que je possède déjà.Cette caméra s’installe très simplement : Un gabarit permet de percer au bon endroit sur le support, et la configuration sur l’application est très simple avec un système de QR code à afficher devant l’objectif de la caméra. tous les paramètres nécessaires sont disponibles : onvif, RTSP, personnalisation du compte admin et surtout de nombreux éléments de gestion de l’enregistrement et des alerte. Par exemple il est possible de flouter des zones filmées, d’enregistrer les évènements sur une carde microsd avec un effacement automatiquement automatique lorsque celle ci est pleine.Petit plus : le panneau solaire possède un fil pour l’installer un peu en décalé par rapport à la caméra, par exemple dans une endroit plus ensoleillé, ce que j’ai fait dans mon cas.Depuis l’installation, c’est à dire une quinzaine de jours, tout se passe très bien, la batterie est toujours chargée, même par temps gris.La résolution de l’image est très bonne et les mouvements plutôt fluides.

Caméra pour un usage extérieur (IP 65) avec alimentation par panneau solaire.Livraison très rapide.La connexion au wifi se fait rapidement et simplement lors de l’ajout de la caméra dans l’application smartphone. J’ai été agréablement surpris de la bonne réception du wifi malgré l’éloignement de celle-ci avec ma box internet.Pour tester l’autonomie de la batterie en cas de manque de soleil pendant une longue durée, j’ai procédé à un charge complète puis débranché le panneau solaire. Après une semaine d’utilisation de la caméra sans recharge la batterie est encore à 97% !La caméra dispose des fonctions classiques depuis l’application ; orientation, sensibilité, zone de détection, micro et haut parleur, … et même une sirène pouvant être déclenchée manuellement !Dés la première utilisation on peut constater la bonne qualité de l’image. Elle est également de bonne qualité en vision nocturne avec ou sans l’utilisation des LED.La détection de mouvement est performante et améliorée grâce à l’IA. Plusieurs modes de détection sont disponibles. Il est aussi possible de paramétrer manuellement la distance de détection, la sensibilité aux mouvements, l’allumage des LED.Je recommande cette caméra autonome, performante et à bon rapport qualité/prix.

Ich habe diese WLAN-Kamera mit Solarpanel vor etwa einem Monat gekauft und bin bisher rundum zufrieden. Die Installation war kinderleicht – einfach die Kamera an der gewünschten Stelle anbringen, mit dem WLAN verbinden, und schon war alles einsatzbereit. Besonders praktisch ist, dass durch das Solarpanel kein Kabelsalat oder ständiges Aufladen nötig ist. Selbst bei wechselhaftem Wetter hält der Akku durchgehend!Das Bild ist gestochen scharf, sowohl bei Tag als auch bei Nacht. Die Nachtsichtfunktion liefert klare Aufnahmen, und durch die Bewegungserkennung bekomme ich sofort eine Benachrichtigung auf mein Smartphone.
