Very convenient, works great
Love this set. It includes both the odor absorbing cartridges, and the plastic holders which can be reused. The included adhesive is also great, still holding strong after a few weeks. While the absorber cartridges are lavender scented, they aren’t overwhelmingly fragranced. They help to cut down on waste odors without replacing them with another overbearing scent. Overall, these are pretty great!

Smells fresh and floral ; works for regular trash bins too
I purchased this for my trash bin. The manufacturer includes some adhesive so you can anchor it to your trash bin.OBSERVATIONS:-The scent is more floral than lavendar like. I know lavendar is a type of flower but the scent is more of a general soft, powdery floral. I’m fine with it and just wanted others to be aware.-The sticker works well to hold the disc in place in my kitchen trash can-The disc is a little harder to open than I was anticipating. Don’t give up – it does eventually open. Out of 3, 1 could open up relatively easily, 1 was a bit of a struggle but I managed and 1 I will try this weekend as I couldn’t do it. I think the opportunity for improvement is better threading between the two pieces so it’s easier to twist and untwist-I like how the scent sachets are sealed in plastic to keep it as fresh as possible

Works with Munchkin or any diaper pail or trash can
This set of 6 baking soda diaper pail deodorizers includes 6 vented pods, 6 individually wrapped baking soda packets, and 6 pieces of double sided adhesive. The adhesive is like a giant glue dot. You can use the adhesive to attach the plastic vented pods inside the lid of a non-Munchkin diaper pail or trash can. Otherwise, they click right into the top of the Munchkin diaper pail like the name brand ones.Being baking soda, they do absorb some odors inside the diaper pail or trash can, but they aren’t 100% effective at eliminating the odors. They are nearly identical to the Munchkin branded Arm & Hammer deodorizers, but these ones are unscented, so there isn’t anything extra to help mask the odors that aren’t absorbed.They are cheaper than some of the name brand diaper pail deodorizers, but I have a hard time recommending then because at nearly $5 each, they are more expensive than most options, especially when you can buy just the baking soda packets without the plastic pods for about 1/4 the price of these.

6 Sets of Baking Soda Cartridge for Munchkin Step and Pail Diaper Pails, With Lavender Scented Baking Soda, Diaper Pail Deodorizers Odor Absorber Compatible with Diaper PailsI know these are for a diaper pail, but I wanted to try them in my bathroom garbage can. I attached it to the under side of the garbage can lid using the adhesive tabs that are included. It has held for several days with the lid opening and closing several times a day. It has also kept the odor down to a minimum, which I am loving.The cost of these ($26.99 at this time) is probably more than I would be willing to spend as a deodorizer of any kind. Otherwise I would be willing to order these again.

Works like the brand name
These work just like the brand name and cost a bit less. They control odors, although you can never expect to just leave your diaper pail full of dirty diapers for days without any odors making it out. They snap right in where the original cartridge was. My only gripe is that I don’t really need the plastic cartridges, just the refills, and this could have been even cheaper (and saved some plastic from ending up in a landfill somewhere) had it been just the baking soda packets and maybe one cartridge.

Really helped with the smell. Would prefer another scent than lavender though.
These cartridges are easy to pop into the diaper pail (or honestly any garbage can) and do a solid job of keeping odors in check. The lavender scent is noticeable but not overpowering, which makes the nursery smell fresher without being too strong. I wish there was a non-scent option or even a vanilla or citrus. I like that they’re compatible with the pail we already had, so there was no issue with fit.They don’t completely eliminate every odor, but they definitely make a difference in cutting down on the unpleasant smell. Having a set of six on hand also means I don’t have to think about replacements for a while. Overall, a practical and helpful accessory for stink prevention.

Effective at eliminating odors
These really do a good job. They comes with a case which snaps on to the lid of the pail easily. The baking soda helps eliminate odor effectively. The 6 sets of replaceable should last a long time. And they could be used with other garbage cans too. For the price it is good value.

Its effectiveness stops with compatibility
The product is well packaged, though I was a bit confused as to why the scent packets weren’t already in the pods. Not a big deal. I was a little taken aback at how simple their construction is. Luckily I had a used Arm & Hammer pod to compare them to. Cracking it open, they are both constructed exactly the same. Right down to the type of packet they put their baking soda into. The pod clicks right into my Munchkin Step pail and I have absolutely no issues with the compatibility. My only issue is with the scent. It is pleasant and airy, but very light. At least with the A&H, I would smell that every time I used my pail. With these pods, I can barely smell it. I’ve had it in the pail for just over 36 hours with one smelly diaper and it barely stops the smell. I’m a bit disappointed since the A&H pods are so expensive. This is definitely an instance where you “get what you pay for”!
