Worth the the money!!!
This was a life saver! My diaper pale smelled horrible! Every time I opened it up it stunk up the room, even after I emptied it. This product worked within a day. I don’t smell anything even when full and open. I have only used one so far.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. I’m not one to write reviews but trying to help the parents out there. Save your money. Doesn’t do anything. Pail still smells every time you go to put a new diaper in.

Add some oil to help!
These pads didn’t really do much by themselves in terms of cutting the smell, so I dropped some oil (essential oil or scented oil) in the pad and that helped so much!!

Change this filter frequently to avoid cultivating bacterial growth!
Came in a white box with no instructions. We installed this immediately and it fit perfectly, and the odor was cut down, just as other reviewers have said. We left this on the ubbi for a few weeks, and noticed that the smell was coming back, and so we thought we ought to change it. When we changed it, there was a disgusting culture growing on the filter.This product should have come with instructions saying something like “change this every N weeks to avoid growing a bacterial culture”. While this is an eight-pack, it has less value for money because the filter needs to be changed more frequently than I thought.

Not worth it
These are not easy to use to continue using the sliding door for placing diapers in the bin. Constantly falls down into the pail and I have not noticed any improvement regarding smell.

I had tried several things to deal with the awful STENCH of our Ubbi pail including the scent absorbing pucks, charcoal packs, baking soda… nothing really seemed to work. And when I used scented garbage bags it smelled even worse… like baby poops from a baby who ingested lavender… not great. Fast forward to date night going flower picking at a local lavender field… and the scent of lavender has been permanently altered in my brain to smell like baby feces. Not fun. ANYWAYS.These carbon filters work great! They don’t have a scent which I love and they actually fit perfectly in the Ubbi lid without any sort of adhesive. I was always jealous of the diaper genie filters that went in the lid and wished the Ubbi had something like that, and this is that product! It doesn’t get rid of the smell completely obviously, but it makes opening the diaper pail bearable! I still air out the pail every couple of weeks outside and between doing that and using these filters, the difference is very noticeable!
