Strong, solid, well designed
I had my kids in the 1980’s, when baby gates were made of cheap pine and were about as sturdy as a toothpick. This baby gate is the most thoroughly engineered gate I have ever seen in my life. It is extremely strong, fits tightly in the door frame, has a cleverly designed release mechanism, and a cat door that is adjustable in width. They thought of everything. We use it to keep our dogs away from the cats’ food and water. My cats figured it out immediately. My blind cat quickly got the idea, but needed some coaching to locate the door in the center of the gate. It was easy to assemble, and includes extensions for wider doorways. If you have kids, cats, and/or dogs, you will love this gate.

Fantastic pet gate!
I relocated and needed to keep small dogs out with a cat able to pass through the gate. This works perfect! Thank you for such an easy and intelligent design. I am able to make the pass through smaller for a cat than a small dog, keep a dog free room for feeding and the cat box and enable the cat to have full access. The gat took one person 15 min to adjust – frankly it was longer to unbox! The clear slider for the cat pass- through is adjustable and was a bit tough to open but after some time it works.

Nice quality, good value gate
Love this gate. We bought it to separate two cats we are trying to integrate, not for a baby, but it works great. Easy to set up, stays in place, and easy to open and close.

Thank god this thing was so easy to put together and figure out because mine didn’t come with instructions lol but that could just be my luck and not an everyone thing. It is sturdy and seems pretty stable. The lock is a a nice feature as well. The small door at the bottom is the perfect size for our cat to be able to get through but not our son. We went with the 36” height so that way it will last us for years to come and I’m glad we did because we won’t have to worry about our son climbing over it. Overall seems worth the money spent👍🏻

We got a new puppy and had to keep him from getting down to our basement level for now, but also let the cat go back and forth and this was a really good buy. We got a super cheap one just to get by for a bit until we found this one and this one made the cheap gate look like we hung up a piece of paper with tape and hope. The gate is very easy to use with one hand and is pretty well built. Most of the gate is metal with the squeeze handle being plastic. You don’t “have” to utilize the permanent mounting hardware if you don’t want to, but I did and it ended up being very stable. It’s not going anywhere for sure.I like the fact it has a spring return, but will also “lock” into an open position just by fully opening just past the 90° mark.Tip: It took me a few minutes to figure out that to open the gate, you have to sqeeze the release lever and lift up to release the lower latching mech.

This is the 2nd one that I have purchased. The gate is easy to use and easy to open. They are sturdy and easy to move if necessary. The little cat door works well. I purchased a 2nd one because I am moving into a new home where my dogs can get into the litter box now. This is to protect the cats and my dogs.

Definitely worth the price
We got this gate to keep our puppy out of trouble. We have other gates but this one is way better. Its sturdier, doesn’t feel loose in the door frame. I love that the little cat door slides open instead of swinging open like my other gates that we catch our shins on all the time. We also really like that it opens both directions, its so convenient. And it’ll close behind you which is super handy when you’ve got a puppy tailing you.Install was easier than other gates too with the tool they give you.Definitely worth the price!

This baby gate is AWESOME! I’ve purchased two other baby gates previous to this gate and they were terrible in comparison to this one because they have no features but were the same price. I have a massive cat people tell me, he’s tall, he’s long, and he’s big boned. He fits through this gate no problem. With that being said, it’s not big enough for my 10 month old to fit through. My mom recently came to visit with her 17 year old Chihuahua who is frail, she was hesitant at first but once shown how to walk through, she started walking through with zero issues. This is nice because it gives the animals an escape from a crawling infant!The installation was fairly easy. There aren’t a ton of parts so it’s pretty straightforward. I had to alter the height of the sticky cup on my wall, I pried it off and I was impressed by how stuck on it was that there was no damage to my paint. The gate is cool because it opens, closes, and swings both ways. Towards you or away from you. Another unique feature is its ability to stay open on either side. When my baby is sleeping my husband and I don’t have to worry about opening and closing the gate to get through, we just leave it open. If you touch the gate with enough pressure it will swing closed and lock. The animal door also has a locking feature. You can open it and lock it or you can choose to slide it closed and lock it as well. I noticed while taking the video it may need some oil at some point, it’s getting a bit squeaky but other than that it’s excellent. Highly recommend.

Needed this gate to keep a toddler in a safe area, but needed the elderly family cats to be able to move freely to the next room to use the litter box. This gate worked perfectly and gave the pets a quick escape when the little one found them interesting. The toddler did try to climb the gate and considered trying the hole but was kept out. Surprisingly she did figure out the switch that is supposed to lock the cat door open or closed so we had to put tape over the switch to stop her from locking the cats in or out. Otherwise it’s a really sturdy gate with can span a good range of openings without marking the walls

Does what it is supposed to do and keeps the dog away from the cat food. Easy to lock in the cat door and the cat got the hang of it quickly. Was a bit tricky to get in as I havent screwed into wall but would purchase again.
