Easy to use; may need to heat adhesive
I did not use this project for baby proofing. I had done some furniture repair and had certain areas that easily scuffed on our table and chairs. I put the liner over it to reduce wear and tear in those areas so I wouldn’t have to repair it as often. It does the job and works perfectly.Note: the only thing I recommend is when you put it on make sure it’s lined up well and use a washcloth and rub over top to warm up the adhesive to make it stick better. If you have to remove and keep applying it, the likelihood is the adhesive will wear quickly.

Could work for you
this will blunt cornersbut the bottom part wont stick to the side of the table, I think the bend point is too strong so it peels away, they need to make that weaker so the adhesion will work on the side’s face.I got this to reduce the strain on my forearms as i type or game at my desk, and it may work but right now it just lifts the desk cover (mouse pad thing some gaming desks have) such that the thicker border digs into my forearm. I will try it without the desk cover but I have to unmount my monitors to be able to take it off.

Perfect for Kitchen Island
I really like this edge safety kit. I used it around the bottom edge of a granite island on the portion of the counter that had an overhang for seating. My toddler was just tall enough that he could hit his head on it if he was running around a corner and not paying attention. After using a lot of different baby proofing corner guards in the past, I can say this one is great quality. The tape peeled off easily and it stuck to the granite edge really well. The corner pieces stuck well too. The best part is that it looks great and we barely even notice it’s there unlike some really obvious baby proofing edge kits. With some of the other more obvious ones (think of the clear corner pieces shaped more like a ball), my toddler would notice them and rip them off, which then turned the corner pieces into a terrifying choking hazard. These are larger so that will not be an issue and he hasn’t even noticed them.

Double stick tape does not stick to rubber bumper!
Horrible! Bumper strip does not stick to the double stick tape! Now I have double stick tape on the corners of all my new kitchen cabinets, but the bumper part has just fallen off! I would be returning this except that I’m out of the return window.

Useful, unobtrusive
Bought this to cushion the edge of an aluminum art deco console table with major corners/edges in my elderly mother’s apartment. She’s become a fall risk, so we felt it necessary to put something on it to blunt it in case she were to fall into it. This is a very small bumper, and if she falls into the table she will still hurt but it’s less likely to break her skin. The corner bumpers are much more substantial than the edging. I really like that these are clear and very subtle until you’re right on top of the table.
