Works great to keep dogs & toddler out
OMGsh, I should have bought this months ago, too! I had two 42 year old wooden pressure baby gates I was using to keep my 67 lb ACD, now GS puppy, and visiting grandson out of certain rooms. I had to release pressure on these gates, readjusting to get in and out. Every time, it was damaging my door frames and walls. After hours of researching, I decided to buy this Cumbar baby gate to replace my 2 old adjustable wooden baby gates.When I opened the box, felt the metal gate, it screamed quality built and materials. Overall, it was easy to assemble. My entryway was 35″…though the larger extension fit in the space, it raised above the floor baseboards, which would be a tripping hazard. I changed to the smaller extension where it would fit on the floor and in-between the baseboards. The adjustment tightening knobs kept it firm against both sides of the wall. I pushed on it to see if any slippage, did not move. I also used some furniture rubber floor disc’s on each adjustment knob as a secondary wall protector. I am using only the pressure option and did not screw in. It is not needed as both dogs and myself found it is very secure.The gate is easy at my old age to slide the gate release button and raise up. A young child could not do it unless taught. The gate swings open inward or outward. It has a stop like a drawer not to hit the wall unless pushed to do so. All I have to do know is open and close the inner gate, no longer damaging my walls/door frame to enter or leave. So convenient!I got the silver gate. I like it so much, I ordered another one to use for my bedroom. It will keep both dogs out, allowing the room to cool per AC technician who advises not to close the door.Unfortunately, it will not keep my cat out. Lol.

Best pet gates for larger dogs!
This is the perfect height for taller and bigger dogs. Super easy to open and close. Hinges swivel both ways. Comes already assembled — all you have to do is unbox. AND it’s a great gate because you don’t have to drill any holes in door frames, stair railings, etc. They are high quality and look nice — as nice as a dog gate can, that is. These gates are really great!

great for dog door. Looks nice and functions well. secure latch. Gate will stay open if fully swung to 90 degrees but self close if less than 60 degrees or so – I like that. Would be nice if door swung 180 degrees so out of way when not using it. Easy install.

Great pet gate
Comes with a plethora of attachments to fit in about any form of a doorway-opening. I really appreciate the wall protector cups so you don’t indent the Sheetrock. Plus there’s adapters to go around a railing baluster. Easily adjust the height of the unit in the opening. The latching feature is difficult enough that our crafty rottie can’t open the door. Sturdy that he can’t barrel through it as well.

Nice Interior Gate
This is a very nice interior gate.This has a very nice / intuitive operation, no explanation required for visitors on how to operate. The gate swings and holds fully open both ways. It swings closed and always latches shut when released from the fully open detent.My slow brain concluded that getting a gate would be useful to confine my daughter’s enormous dogs (grand dogs) during their visits when the sister-in-law blocked the dogs from the dining room using chairs.This is SUPER secure. I just screwed the included wall cups through the Sheetrock into the wall studs using the included hardware.My threshold is slightly higher because I didn’t want to remove the ¼ round baseboard molding.The included threshold ramp is VERY handy as a stand, when the gate is detached and stored between uses. My threshold ramp cracked slightly on the bottom surface during installation.Note, do NOT discard the short wire rope, provided by the manufacturer on the strike side to retain the assembly when the gate is not installed. If the gate is removed for storage this wire rope is replaced to constrain the strike side gap. The manufacturer should update their instructions to state the importance of retaining that short wire rope.My gate is always stored, except when the grand dogs come to visit. I loosen the tension bolt only on one side during removal to maintain the centered adjustment for faster replacement.This is recommended.

Very sturdy. Fits in those hard to fit places. Don’t have to worry about catching a foot ( I have a standard poodle puppy,) I love the self closure feature.

Solid and wide, easy to open
We use this to keep the dogs from going upstairs. Extremely sturdy just from the pressure mounting. Easy to open and close with one hand. As a parent I would fully trust this with a toddler. Highly recommend.
