Sleek, Secure and easy to install
I recently purchased the LinkSmart Smart Cabinet Lock and have been very impressed with its performance. The installation was completely drill-free thanks to the strong adhesive, which made it perfect for renters or anyone who doesn’t want to damage their furniture. It sticks well and feels very secure.The lock itself is discreet and hidden inside the cabinet, which not only keeps kids out but also maintains a clean, uncluttered look. I love the flexibility of having both RFID and Bluetooth unlocking options — it’s convenient, especially when my hands are full. No need to fumble with keys!I’ve used it on a kitchen cabinet and a liquor cabinet, and it works flawlessly. Is the app really required? Seems like it should be Optional.
This device seems to function; the bolt opens and closes, and seems to be triggered by the RFID cards. I tested it and allow the RFID signal through about 3/4 inch oak and likely a bit more so should work for what I want. If the battery were to fail, it seems like a paper clip or RFID card could be slipped on an angle behind the bolt and pulled forward to force the bolt down (not a bad fail safe). The issue I have is that it is designed to work with the app, or the app and the RFID but does not seem to function with the RFID cards alone. I can trigger the bolt to extend or contract, however once extended it always retracts after a few seconds, thus leaving it in an unlocked state. Why do I need the app to make this work? Seems like a design flaw. Some of us don’t want our lives linked to a phone when the RFID cards work. The instructions seem to be a how to and as long as you follow its one and only path you likely will get success with this device. It would be nice to know what the 5 LED’s, mean 4 LED’s always white, all on or all off but no indication of what that means. The primary LED usually blue, but does turn green when the reset button is pressed. There is a beep that sounds and only seems to indicate that the RFID has been read and the device is actuated. I find this unusable in its current form based on its design and my desire to not install an app on my phone. I would love to change this review if some of the above questions are answered and I can be shown how to use only the RFID. In the mean time I will likely return this device, and look at alternatives:ROTHULT Smart lock, white – IKEA

Doesn’t work for our needs
Great idea, but doesn’t work for our needs. Needed it for the pull out garbage as we have a special needs child that goes into the garbage…the mechanism blocks the pathway to pull out the garbage

Great mix of security and convenience
This lock exceeded my expectations. I installed it on a cabinet without needing to drill any holes, and it’s completely hidden no one would ever guess it’s there. It’s very convenient because I can unlock it with my phone via Bluetooth or with the RFID cards, which I find super handy. The battery lasts a long time (I’ve been using it for weeks without any issues), and it gives me peace of mind knowing everything inside is secure, even childproof. Plus, the adhesive is really strong and doesn’t come off.
