We experienced a small issue with the connector that controls the lifting of the chair, making proper contact and there was a minor tear in the back headrest area. The chair is comfortable, though it feels a bit on the light-duty side. Overall, it’s a good value for the price.

My husband was being discharged from hospital from knee surgery in a straight leg immobilizer and needed a lift chair quickly. The chair came in pieces but easily assembled. The chair is comfortable and well made .

Arms of the chair are fluffy pillows
The chair is very comfortable. I’m an elderly woman and so it took me a while longer to assemble than other reviewers. It took about an hour and a half. What surprised me, and seemed different from the photo, was that the arms are a fluffy pillow. As elderly often purchase this type of chair, it’s important to be able to push up with hands on the arms. The pillow arms don’t offer the support needed. I’m going to take the chair apart (moan) and try adding bolster to firm up the arm. Hope that works. Chair is attractive.

Great for the money
This was perfect for my mom who had hip replacement surgery. She has bad knees and bursitis in her shoulders so this was a complete game changer for her. She could be independent with this. It was excellent for the cost. The heat was nice when she had to ice her hip. She could turn it on so the rest of her didn’t get as cold. The assembly was a little more involved than I had anticipated. Tip: when assembling the arms on the base. They tell you to pull hard to lock them open. They mean YANK it as hard as you can. It won’t lock without violently yanking it. Just “pulling hard” doesn’t do it. I struggled for at least a half hour until I watched a YouTube video. Once I realized I needed to be super aggressive, it was a piece of cake.

Just got chair today, and I love it. My daughter put it together, it was kind of easy to put together if can fine all parts lol but she did.its comfortable, wish had pockets on both side. For remotes.this should last me a few years.well worth it.
