Great size, perfect for my needs, works really good.
I was looking for a heat sterilizer for quite some time now that would be the correct size for what i needed it for. They are either too small or to big. So after coming across this one and reading the reviews I was confident it would be the right size based on most reviews claiming it was bigger than they expected.Upon receiving the NV-210 i was relieved to see that it in fact is a larger one compared to others. It is made very well and comes with a decent size stainless steel basket/tray that holds whatever your sterilizing. Also included are 2 small rings to hook onto the basket to remove it to prevent your hands from potential burns. I made my own “rings” to remove the basket that are a little longer and more comfortable and convenient to use.I will note it is only in Celsius not fahrenheit which I would have preferred since we use fahrenheit in the US. It would have nice to see both on the dial at least. Otherwise it works great and heats up fast. There’s is a standard 3 prong plug that can be unplugged from the back of the unit for storage.It works for what I’m using it for, I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for one that is on the larger side and at a reasonable price.

Temperature Dial is Celsius not Fahrenheit – Helpful tool for multiple uses
This Heat sanitizer from Soiiw is simple to operate. The directions with the product say that it will heat up to 220 degrees C which is 438 degrees Fahrenheit. The dial on the left front of the machine is marked with temperatures in Celsius. There are no Fahrenheit measurements on the machine so converting to Celsius will be necessary to set the operating temperature. The right dial is a timer which is straight forward. It is in minutes, not minutes and hours.The 110 v electrical cord is removable from the back of the machine – making it easy to store inside. The manufacturer included what appear to be brass D rings to hook under the handles of the tray. These are used to remove the tray when the sterilizing process is completed.The front of the box from the manufacturer says – to quote the phrase word for word “ UV sanitation is more reliable”. I am unsure why the manufacturer chose this information and made it the top bullet point on the front of the factory box.This machine heats well, we have tested it using a instant read thermometer. The temperatures after the machine has had sufficient time to heat up, reach the setting on the dial. The timer is accurate based on my limited testing.I think this is a very good item to have on hand for wilderness medicine. It is also good to be able to sanitize tools when needing to remove stitches or basic first aid. My husband and I live on a ranch so going to town is not always an option. Add to that snow storms, ice storms, wild fires and tornados and we think, no one is coming….It looks like it’s up to us.

Small powder coating oven for small parts
I was really excited to get this, not because of the sterilization but because I can use it as a small powder coating oven.Because of it’s small size, it heats up much faster and with much less electricity than a larger oven.The specific temperature and timing controls are also perfect for baking on powder coat.Seems to be good quality and should work nicely for what I plan on using it for.For reference, powder coating typically requires temperatures between 160°C to 210°C – since this can reach a max temperature of 220*C, that make’s it absolutely perfect for baking paint onto small parts.
