Amazing camera quality and portable monitor with a wider screen than other models. Also love that it doesn’t need WiFi. It is a close loop connection, which safely allows me to check in on my baby. The microphone on the camera picks up sound extremely well! Also has a momentarily shut off function that allows you to hear any minimal sound baby makes without having the monitor screen. Thus preserving the battery.

I absolutely love this baby monitor! One of my favorite things about it is that it doesn’t connect to Wi-Fi, so I don’t have to worry about anyone hacking into the system. It also means I’m not dependent on my phone to keep track of my baby while she sleeps, which I really appreciate.When the time comes for her to sleep in her own room, the included screen will be so handy. I’ll be able to see her if she cries, or just turn the screen off and keep the audio on to listen in. That’s something you just can’t do easily with app-based monitors that rely on your phone.Sure, we can’t view her when we’re away from home, but that’s not a feature we need. The range between the camera and monitor is great. I can even be outside gardening and still keep a clear connection. Overall, it’s exactly what we wanted: simple, safe, and dependable!

A Baby Monitor I Actually Love!I’ve tried quite a few baby monitors, but the Hello Baby has quickly become my absolute favorite! I had the first-generation model, which was good, but this non-WiFi version is perfect for me. I love that it’s simple and secure. The screen is crystal clear so I can see my little one easily and the sleek, compact design makes it so easy to carry around the house. It’s reliable, easy to use, and I would definitely buy another one for myself or even as a thoughtful gift for another parent. Truly a game-changer!

Great Value, Excellent Picture, WiFi Free
Great quality! The picture is clear and the sound is great too. There is a zoom that works well and we bought the attachment that mounts to the camera, so we can clip it to the pack n play. We use this one for traveling. It doesn’t require wifi and we can even plug it in the car! Love it and would definitely buy it again, especially for the price!

It does the work but I wish the image was little but more clear. But you get your money’s worth. I do like that I am able to adjust the camera. Battery also last a long time. Also quite easy to set up… did it in 5 minutes.

Updated 10/2025: their customer service is incredible. The company reached out and sent me a new monitor to replace the one that broke way too easy. The new one has been much tougher, as new baby stuff should be. They were swift and seemingly sincere in their concern about my receiving faulty product. The camera works well and the monitor has a good range. Knowing what I know about their support team and the video quality, I would buy again.— initial post below:At first it worked great! Has better reception than the infant optics monitor we were gifted, large screen shows good details. It has not a super long battery life and when I bought it, I actually thought the camera was battery operated, which it is not. But overall I really like it. The monitor screen however! Is extremely sensitive and weak. I was standing in my kitchen watching the monitor, stirring coffee, and the monitor tipped forward onto the same counter its sitting, nothing in front of it to bang it, just flat granite surface, when I picked it up, there is a huge Crack in the screen and 3/4 of it went blank. From not even falling, just tipping over! Im a bit bummed to be honest. We treat it with care, but this wasn’t some fall to the floor or anything dropped onto it, just, sitting then on its face, base never left the counter. Im gobsmacked. Id think a baby monitor could take a bit more of a beating. So great monitor. If you never ever move it apparently.
