Excellent wearable-free baby monitor
We really love our Miku monitor. Setup was very easy and we had no issues getting it connected to our Wifi (unlike other monitors where we’ve had issues in the past). It hasn’t dropped or lost connection once.We’ve also been so happy with the picture quality and ability to see our baby’s breathing pattern / rhythm without any wearable. Sometimes our little one flips onto her belly and while we know she’s capable of rolling both ways, we still used to feel a bit anxious. The camera provides such peace of mind!!Compared to other monitors that require a wearable or are hundreds of dollars, this one provides everything you need, including the ability to see your baby’s breathing pattern, for much less. A great value for the money.We’ve been loving our Miku and highly recommend it.

All around terrible.
This camera was absolutely terrible. It constantly had connection issues (but only on my husbands app). It also said that it would record snips of when there was motion, but it never did. It would only record when our baby wasn’t in the crib. I didn’t like that we paid for the subscription and that you didn’t get to scroll back and see video footage.We really wanted to like this camera, as the not having the band or anything wearable like other cameras to monitor breathing really enticed me. Unfortunately we gave it as long as we could before making the switch to a well know competitor. And the competitor was more expensive but so far 100% worth the extra money.

Super convenient, mind-easing monitor
From the packaging to the display and functionality, this baby monitor is truly incredible and gives me such peace of mind.Opening the package was super refreshing because it comes with everything you could need to install the monitor properly. The instructions are very clear, and it comes with everything from a measuring tape to a screwdriver to mount the monitor. I also had a very easy time pairing the device with the phone app, and the instructions within the app that walked me through everything were very simple.At first I was using the device simply as a monitor and loved it on its own. The video is clear, the sound is crisp, and you can listen to the sound through your phone without the app needing to be open (and your phone can even be in DND mode so you can hear your baby if they need you in the middle of the night)!When I activated the monthly subscription, I found it to be worth the $9.99/month. It displays my baby’s live respirations per minute and aggregates the data so I can see over time if her breathing is remaining consistent or if she may be getting sick. It automatically records video when she moves in the middle of the night so I can look back to see what might have disturbed her, and it provides a sleep score based on how long she is sleeping as well as the efficiency of her sleep.Prior to getting the Miku, I was honestly very anti-WiFi connected monitor because of the perceived security risks, but Miku goes above and beyond to encrypt your data, and I spoke with support to make sure that the data is never shared, only used internally to improve the product.I am expecting another baby in May and will be getting a second unit to maintain this level of peace of mind. Definitely recommend!

Love this monitor! The packaging was thoughtful, the setup was seamless, and every detail felt designed with parents in mind.Setup was incredibly intuitive. The app guided me through everything step-by-step, and I had it streaming clear video and audio in minutes. The most exciting feature has been the real time breathing monitor. My baby had a few respiratory episodes just after birth, which is what led me to purchase the Miku. Being able to glance at the app and see his exact breaths per minute is super reassuring. The monthly subscription has been worth it for us as well to see his breathing patterns over time.This is hands-down one of the best purchases I’ve made as a parent.
