Used it for extra padding
I purchased this mattress for extra padding on a fold out chair bed, fits perfectly and is very comfortable. I cannot advise on baby use but very pleased with purchase, no toxic smell and using the softer side. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased a crib mattress with a protective covering, and I’m pleased with several aspects of this purchase. The thickness of the covering is impressive, providing a robust layer of protection for the mattress, which gives me peace of mind knowing it will withstand the rigors of daily use.When it comes to sizing, I found the mattress to fit perfectly in the crib—no gaps, which is crucial for safety. This aspect is often overlooked, but it’s vital for ensuring a snug fit and preventing any accidents.However, I did encounter a couple of issues that prevented me from giving a full five-star rating. The first was that the zipper on the mattress protector was broken upon arrival. This was quite disappointing, as it compromises the effectiveness of the protector and the ease of cleaning. Additionally, the shipping took longer than expected, which can be frustrating when you’re eagerly awaiting a new item for your little one.Despite these setbacks, the quality of the mattress and its covering has impressed me. I would still recommend this product to other parents, but I’d suggest checking the protector thoroughly upon arrival to ensure everything is in working order. Overall, a beautiful and thick crib mattress, but just be aware of potential shipping delays and check the zipper upon receipt.

Comfy mattress for my little one
We used a polyester filled mattress for my little one and while firm, our little one didn’t find it too comfortable and was sweating up a storm. I lost my place in bed and surrounded by pillow barrier, our little one took over my space. In my attempt to reclaim my space, I thought I’d give memory foam mattress a try and I’m glad I tried this one. After 48 hours, this expanded to 2.5 inches not quite 3 as listed.My little one’s bit spoiled as he’s used to softer mattress. While we should technically used the firm side, we bit him on the soft side and he now sleeps like a rock. Another plus is that he doesn’t sweat as much so he definitely finds this mattress more comfortable. This has allowed me to reclaim my space on the bed. Recommended.
