I bought these to put into a crate to fly with my cat just in case there was an “accident” while traveling. They are absorbent and fit nicely into the carrier

Wish I had purchased these sooner. They fit perfectly in the carrier. Love the disposable, especially if you have a kitty that gets super upset (throwing up, etc.) going to the vet. Four stars because they are a bit pricey.

Get What You Pay For… Not an Equivalent Alternative to DryFur Carrier Pads
I purchased these as a less expensive alternative for DryFur Carrier Pads, as these appear to be the only competing product available anywhere, not just on Amazon! We are preparing to take our two cats on a long-haul flight and I absolutely love DryFur pads for lining their hard-sided carriers. I was hopeful for these pads, as they are approximately half the price of the DryFur pads and available with Prime shipping, however I am disappointed by their quality and will be returning them.These pads are much thinner and clearly not lined with the same absorbent materials as DryFur pads. Although the outermost layer of these pads seems to be a similar material to DryFur’s product and therefore will resist shredding by pets, I doubt the thinner pad itself is anywhere as absorbent or that it can lock away moisture as well as the DryFur pads. (I didn’t test their actual absorbency because I intend to return them.)The sides of the pads, which are meant to fold up alongside the inner edges of the carrier, are also thinner than the DryFur product and don’t appear to be filled with anything at all. Whereas the DryFur products are lined all the way to the edges and are as absorbent as the center of the pad, the outermost edgest of this product are not filled at all and appear to consist of only the front and back layers of the outer liner material. The sides are flimsy and could easily be folded over by a pet, preventing the pad from staying completely put against the bottom of the carrier, risking both your pet sliding around in their carrier and potentially missing the pad altogether if they relieve themselves.These pads might be suitable for a short trip or as a liner for a small animal enclosure. I think they could even still be a reasonably good carrier liner for a very small animal (up to 5 pounds or so, perhaps–not heavy enough to move it around themselves), but I won’t trust it to keep my 14-pound cat comfortable.

Flying High, Relaxed and Dry
This was a very easy to use product that fit well into our soft carrier. It made our long flight with two pets a lot less nerve-racking.

Fits pet carriers nicely and seem more comfortable and absorbent than pee pads
I have two cats that I will need to take on a plane when I relocate in a couple of months. I have been trying to acclimate them to their pet carriers so they won’t freak out when the time comes. In the meantime, I am taking them to the vet in their carriers and seeing which ones they prefer. In one trip to the vet, my little one had an accident in the carrier…it was super soft and stinky and she somehow managed to smear it all over, including all over my jacket that I put inside to keep her warm and comfortable. Eew!These carrier pads fit perfectly inside the carriers and there is a padded area that seems like it would sufficiently hold some pee and is a little padded for additional comfort. The pads have a bit of an overhang, so they could be flipped up to create a little frame coming up the sides to prevent any leakage. I am going to use these in the carriers when I fly and I’m sure that they will do a much better job than my jacket and I won’t have to worry about throwing them out after. I also think that they will do a substantially better job than using pee pads, which was my initial plan. I think clean up and disposal will be significantly easier with these than pee pads as well.

Nice Size & Very Sturdy
I used these in a pet carrier under rabbits while they were inside during some cold winter days. These kept the smell down and helped contain the mess. I’m sure I put these through more abuse than they were designed for so if you need them for normal processes then I’m sure these will work fantastically for you. I was very pleased with them.Here’s my rating scale for products:1 Star: Do not buy. This item has serious flaws. I would never under any circumstances use again.2 Stars: Do not buy. Its usable at best, but you could easily find something better.3 Stars: Just ok. Buy if you can’t find an alternative. Some issues need to be addressed.4 Stars: Recommend purchase.
