Great option instead of social media/tablets
I bought as a gift for my niece and she LOVES these books. Keeps her mind engaged and off tablets, games and tv. A great option for trips in the car too. I recommend this as it’s age appropriate.

A solid, well-executed resource that makes brain training accessible and fun.
The “Super Fun Activity Book for Smart Girls” is exactly what busy parents and curious kids need in our screen-saturated world—a thoughtfully designed collection of mental challenges that manages to be both educational and genuinely entertaining. With over 100 activities ranging from word searches and Sudoku to cryptograms and logic grids, this book offers impressive variety without feeling overwhelming. What sets it apart is the smart progression system: puzzles start simple enough to build confidence, then gradually increase in difficulty as young minds warm up to the challenge. No child gets left behind frustrated, and no gifted problem-solver gets bored. The book’s true strength lies in its practical approach to skill-building. Rather than feeling like homework, these puzzles naturally develop critical thinking, logic, and creativity through engagement rather than instruction. The inclusion of full solutions in the back means kids can work independently without constant adult supervision—a feature parents will greatly appreciate.Portable and screen-free, it’s ideal for travel, quiet afternoons, or simply as an alternative to endless scrolling. For kids ages 8-12 looking to flex their mental muscles, this activity book delivers on its promise of making learning feel like play.

Great way for kids to learn new skills
I really enjoyed going through a lot of these tasks. If I was a child going through these and I got something right I would’ve thought I was super smart 😂 I see this as a great confidence booster and something a child can do to kill the time. My favorite ones was the comparing pictures to see what was different and the word search. I love those activities even to this day and I’m 30 years old. The one task I struggled with was sudoku. It’s always something I want to get into, but I haven’t gotten a chance to understand it, but I got it somewhat going through this book. This book is an amazing way for kids to learn new skills. My nephew loves anything with numbers and learning new skills so we did this together and we had a lot of fun 😊

Lots of challenging activities that are still fun
My kids love activity books and challenging themselves. I found an activity books for my son last month and just let my daughter work on them with him. But now, I’m glad I have a specific book for her. While I don’t believe the books need to be gender specific, it does make it easier for my kids to distinguish which book is theirs. The activities are challenging, but age appropriate. Not only are there crosswords and word searches, there are riddles to solve, math problems, writing challenges, and more. My daughter is excited to have her own activity books that she can take to her room and complete on her own without her brother potentially influencing how she might solve the problems.

Cute
The activity book is adorable and offers a wide variety of fun puzzle activities to keep kids entertained. It includes an answer key in the back for easy checking. While some puzzles may be challenging, all are age appropriate. The booklet is marketed for girls but I could see boys enjoying the majority of the puzzles as well. This booklet would make a great gift for children who enjoy puzzles.
