This is a great size for my newborn as everything is within “reach”. I like that just 1 of the hanging animals makes a sound rather than all of them, and my older daughter can activate the music for my newborn. The music is just a single phrase from popular songs (twinkle twinkle etc) rather than a whole song.The material is soft to lie on with a few small textures although not enough to do all-in-one play – as she gets older she’ll definitely need individual play toys. It was very easy to put together and has longevity in passing on to friends etc.My health visitor also gave the thumbs up to the colours being perfect for newborn eyesight!
