Great for newborns
I’m new to cloth diapering, but decided to try a liner to make clean up easier. These are super soft, quilted cotton. They even seem to help to prevent leaks, even though that is not why I got them. My baby is a one month old, breastfed baby and when placed right this liner keeps the pocket diaper pretty clean. The only down side is that this liner is much smaller than regular inserts and placing it can be tricky. The liner can easily shift and then you have the liner and the diaper to spray off, doubling your with instead of saving you time. I’ve only used each liner 2-3 times, but so far zero staining.

the liners already had strings of fabric that could be pulled off sinceI received the item. Also too small for cloth diapers- the diaper will get stained since the liner is too small.

Helps prevent leaks
These work well as just a little extra absorption in my diapers. They are a bit smaller than I would like, but even as is, I place them on top of my pocket diapers ( not in the pocket) that just have 1 bamboo insert, and find that they help keep most poop off the diaper and absorb fast to prevent leaks that happen when it doesn’t absorb fast enough. I also like to know that there is cotton against my baby’s skin with these.Definitely depends what you are looking for, but I found that adding these helped prevent most leaks even tho they are quite small and thin. This will not provide a ton of extra absorption if that is what you are looking for.

Great addition to a cloth diaper
I like that they are thin and just a little extra support for my baby’s cloth diapers. The choice was either two diaper inserts or try this. The two diaper inserts make the diaper way too thick and do not allow her to crawl.

Does the job!
We call them “poop shields” in my house. They have worked great for the times when our baby has just been changed and farts a little too hard leaving the smallest of poop marks that would otherwise require a diaper change. I am also rather impressed by its absorbency after “poop-spolsions”. The poop does not seep through the liner onto the cloth diaper where the liner is covering it. You wouldn’t think it would be so absorbent looking at it and feeling it. Honestly very impressive.

Don’t do it!
Caution – Fabric is not absorbent enough, harder to remove stains, and will eventually smell and cause yeast rash if not careful. Not worth the headache or extra washing.

Thin and perfect for a newborn infant.
Fit perfectly inside my newborn sized cloth diapers (I was using the newborn G diapers-see pic for reference.) Just one of them had the right amount of absorbency I needed before he got to 4 weeks and started peeing a lot more at once. They’re super soft and dry really fast, even if you hang them.The price was reasonable, but shipping was ridiculous, depending on which vendor I was ordering from anywhere from 2-3x more than the cost of the inserts! For that one reason I didn’t order more.Now that my son is older and is a heavier wetter, I just double two of them on top of a regular bamboo insert for a super soft, trim doubler.
