Safe for pesky little wondering hands
This is a must to have or all parents with babies who can walk and grab. The installation inside the cabinet is fairly easy with the instructions. The spring mechanism appears to work fine. I like that feature compared to magnet one as I will have to find a magnet to open it vs this one where you open the door and push down the spring to unlock.

Over half of pack unusable due to bad fit/bad springs. Difficult to install
These seem perfect in theory but I had 2 major issues. The first issue is that they were very difficult to install. It’s supposed to be “simple stick and go” but this glosses over the difficulty of figuring out the exact placement and angle you need, in order for the lock to actually catch/latch properly. There is no template provided and the instructions are not very clear. It took me several tries to find the right position, requiring lots of unsticking and resticking, which of course damages the adhesive. The second issue is that the spring mechanism did not work properly in over half of the pack that I received. Most of them were very tight/sticky and did not move easily enough when unlocking, causing them to “stick” in the UNLOCKED position. Please note, I am aware if you push them far enough, they are *supposed* to lock fully downwards so you can open the cabinets more easily when the lock is not needed, and that is not the feature I’m talking about – this was happening to me after only pushing down an inch or so, just enough to unlock them.

Effective but a Bit Tricky at First
These cabinet locks work well for keeping little ones out of cabinets and drawers. I like that they’re invisible and don’t require drilling. Installation is a bit fiddly at first, but once set, they feel secure. A solid baby proofing solution.

Horrible
Horrible! Will not catch the latch. My husband is pretty good handyman and including myself and these would catch a few times and after that would not and they were very hard to line up. And when you push them down when not in use to put them back in use was extremely difficult and frustrating to get back into position.

So I truly love these child locks and the concept behind them; they are very easy to install, my only problem was that the way my dresser is built I wasn’t able to use these because inside wasn’t even with the drawer therefore there wasn’t a way for them to connect but otherwise, if my drawers would have been leveled these 100% are my go to!If you are not understanding exactly what I mean by the pieces being even, make sure to double check the pictures & installation steps! My child’s dresser dipped on the inside both at the top and on the side therefore there was nowhere in the dresser that the pieces would have lined up to hook to each other and function properly!
