Had to revise review after finding missing piece
This is an edited review of this product. The initial, two star review started like this: “How can there be so many favorable reviews and yet the one I received could not be assembled?” It described how there was a missing piece to the lamp shade structure. However, after writing that review, I found the missing piece which had fallen behind a cardboard flap, and easily completed the assembly. It’s pretty easy – everything snaps together, like a tent pole with the elastic cords.Since I saw no way to ask Seller about a missing item, starting a refund seemed the only way forward, but when I found the item the very next day I cancelled that process. A few days later I see that the Seller (Karjoefar) actually exists and communicates (after seeing the review?), having sent me not one, but two messages on two separate days, apologizing and offering me a choice of full refund or replacement (and no need to return first item). I think that is very good customer service and that, plus the obviously good value of this price point, raises my review to five stars. The lamp itself is very nice, elegant looking and functionally well designed. It will fit with most decors. It is not truly excellent, like a $200 lamp might be, mainly because the shade does have some limitations (has to be rolled up to ship in the small, tightly packed box). It is okay, but I will probably replace it with a nicer looking one. However, at $50-60, and with good customer support, this is definitely a nice-looking five star floor lamp that puts out good lighting.

Bright, but looks cheap (buy when on sale!)
This is a nice lamp as far as lamps go! There’s two bulbs, two strings so you can have half the brightness if you’d like, and a handy button you can press with your foot. It has three different color modes but I always leave mine on the warm setting.This lamp is bright enough to light my home office in the early mornings without having to turn on an overhead light!My only complaint is that since the lamp post ships in parts, you can see the seams of where it fits together. And honestly, it doesn’t look good. I’ve all but forgotten about it since this lamp sits in the corner and I’m not exactly staring at it all day. But it doesn’t look sleek and modern like the photos, it looks like a cheap lamp you got on Amazon….So, yes, this lamp performs very well. But it is visually mediocre and has visible seams where you put it together. I bought mine on sale, I recommend others do the same!

Can’t beat the price ($75.99 CDN) on this for what it does. Yes, the shade is not flawless, but for most people who aren’t spending their time looking at lampshades, it likely won’t be noticable. And I actually find the assembly design of the shade very clever. Nobody has said anything about it. The lamp is excellent.
