If you want a humidifier that actually improves sleep — this one delivers… as long as you baby it a little.The size is impressive, the tank lasts forever, and it definitely helped our sleep quality by keeping the air comfortably moist. It has great value for money, and we never had issues with leakage. It’s also pretty easy to use day-to-day.But like any humidifier, the real work is in the upkeep — you must clean it regularly so mold doesn’t build up inside. A quick wash or a soak with peroxide keeps it safe and healthy, otherwise the benefits can quickly turn into the opposite.Overall, a great long-lasting humidifier — just treat it like a plant: use regularly, clean regularly, and it will take good care of you too 😄💙.

A Good Night’s Sleep Makes Life Better
We had the earlier model from this manufacturer, that the circular reservoir. I really liked that humidifier, and it served us very well, before it was “killed” in action when we had some power surges on and off–following a power outage. I ordered this newer model several months ago as a replacement, and have been very pleased with it.It has virtually silent operation, is easy to program and is extremely easy to load with water. There is absolutely no leakage from this machine and it works perfectly with our room size. The advantages of the humidifier for us are much better sleep, as this really helps with snoaring/uneasy sleep because of air that is too dry. Everything should work as well as this humidifier!

Loving This Humidifier!
This humidifier just arrived today, and it’s already raising the humidity for my plants while barely using any water. I didn’t buy it just for the plants, lol — my dog, cat, husband, and I all suffer from dry skin with our wood heat in the winter. I love the black color, top-fill design, large water capacity, and how quiet it is. It shows current humidity, target humidity, and temperature, plus has adjustable mist levels, a rotatable nozzle, and a sleep mode. Haven’t tried cleaning it yet, but so far it’s fantastic!

A lot to like but a couple annoyances
There’s a lot to like about this humidifier – large water capacity means you don’t have to fill it every day, it’s very adjustable, it’s quiet, it has a nice little remote, and you can turn off/blank the display while it’s running which is nice when you’re trying to sleep. It’s even Wi-Fi capable and shows up on our home network, although I haven’t played with that functionality.But. BUT!The way this device is designed is the base is a large (8 Liter) water reservoir. The head unit on top sucks up water through a hose that runs down to the reservoir, and turns the water into a mist and sends it into the room. To refill the humidifier you have two options – you can lift a little flap on top of the head unit and pour in water, relatively slowly, and it drains through the head unit down into the reservoir below; or the faster way is to lift off the head unit and move it aside while you pour water directly into the reservoir. But when you lift off the head unit, as soon as you tilt it AT ALL it spills water out of a little hole on the bottom of the head unit. This little “feature” is not described in the manual. The first time you do this you’re guaranteed to spill water all over the floor; after the first couple times making a mess, you get good at lifting and holding the head unit so that the water drains back into the reservoir tank below rather than onto the floor, and when that’s done, you pour your fresh/distilled water into the base to refill it.But for me the REALLY annoying thing is that while it’s running, it periodically dribbles water from the head back down into the tank. It seems to happen spontaneously, maybe every 4 or 5 hours (haven’t really timed it). The dribbling is not super noisy, but it is loud enough that it has woken me up a few times. Also when it wakes me up I sometimes get freaked out at the sound of dribbling water and think we have a plumbing problem somewhere. I eventually got used to it, but that doesn’t mean I like it.So I’ll give it 4 stars overall. If they could fix these little idiosyncrasies it would be an easy 5 star device.

It works but not terribly effective in a very large room
I have this in a large living room with a cathedral ceiling, two open doorways to the rest of the house, next to a fireplace drawing air from the room though the flu is closed, and in take vents for the furnace in an adjacent hallway. It is advertised for bedroom use, so I did not expect miracles, and it does help even under those conditions. It has three levels of mist production. At level 3, it does need refilling after a day’s use. Based on comparisons to separate devices in the room, it tends to under report room temperature by about four to six degrees and over report humidity levels by about the same margin. Not a big deal unless you plan on adjusting your thermostat based on its readings. The night light is pretty but not very bright; I wouldn’t recommend you plan on replacing your existing night light with this humidifier. I found it difficult to read the water level with or without the night light on without a flashlight, but that might just be me. I deducted one star because of these minor annoyances. Not because it didn’t quite measure up in doing a job for which it was not designed. I’m keeping it. However, while I do not anticipate using, based on some other reviews, I have also kept the box it came in in case it develops other problems such as a leak or crack in the water tank after a few weeks use. I don’t anticipate that as being a problem as most reviewers have apparently experienced no problems at all. Some users have reported that the app is fee based for most functions. I tried to download the Tuya app but the app I found in Playstore wasn’t applicable. I could probably find it with a little more work but the remote that came with it does everything I’ll ever want to do. Still another minor annoyance added to a number of other minor annoyances. .
