Baby Corner Guards 6.56FT
While I don’t have a baby, I myself am plenty prone to running into things, so I got this edge protector sponge guard to save my shins a beating on the coffee table and dog gate. This product does provide a good amount of cushioning. It is soft, spongy, foamy, and dense enough to absorb a lot of the impact so you don’t take such a sharp hit on corners and other sharp surfaces. The design is pretty unobtrusive. However, for this to adhere best, it naturally wants to fold/crease at the “valleys” in the ridged design… which means the corner is right where there is the least padding. You can obviously shift it a bit and fold it on a “peak” instead, but it’s likely to peel up more quickly then. This is not the strongest adhesive yet it’s strong enough that I wouldn’t trust it on nice wood or painted surfaces. At $10 for a 6.56′ roll, this is an affordable (if somewhat temporary) solution to protect shins and little ones from sharp corners in your home.

Spongy soft padding
I intended to use this Baby Corner Guards 6.56-foot strip to protect a cabinet door corner that I tend to hit my head on, but forgot to take into account that the added thickness wouldn’t let the cabinet door close. So, for corner use, the corner has to be out in the open, without a drawer or door impacting it. I still hope to find another use for it–the adhesive is sticky and the strip is spongy soft. I would think carefully about the surface you’re applying it to–I don’t intend to take any risks with damaging the surface. I would not put this on the cheap furniture that’s veneer or paper. I would not use this on nice wood furniture (only stuff you don’t care about, like my old worn cabinets). I would not put it on a painted wall because life is too short to have to deal with touch-ups. I think this would be best on plastic or metal that adhesive would adhere to well and that you can clean if there’s any residue left after being on for a long time.

May not protect the baby – not good adhesive
The baby protection has few pros but 2 major issues. I used this product to protect from sharp corners, and the infamous bed corner. The installation was simple and fast. To be honest it looks decent, the material has a nice cushion that is soft and resistant enough for some hits. Now we come to the part where I have to tell you of the reasons I would not recommend this item. I installed this in a few areas where my partner and I tend to hit our feet, this includes a bed frame of wood, a night stand, and a sharp corner. After 1 hour of the product being installed I noticed the item was no longer covering the corner and was now just hanging by a single piece. So in total the item was able to hold for about 2 hours if I did not glue back as it should. I checked the other 4 spots we placed it, and just as expected they were all coming off. I guess if you want to you can invest in swapping the double-sided tape and fix the issue but it would be a lot more work. I would say if you intend to use this as is I will not recommend it if you have kids. The soft foam will likely tempt some kiddos to chew or bite it (because kids will be kids). With all that said the material is nice and soft, but I would say if you want it to protect your baby or young ones I will suggest going for something better, or be willing to spend some extra time and money fixing any issues with the glue of this item.

Requires measuring and cutting, not great for corners
Works well once on but not my favorite to need to cut it to fit and it’s a bit difficult for the corners. It is very soft and it can fit a good variety of different furniture sides. It goes on easily and the sticky is firm. Does have a good thickness too, just not my favorite style for baby proofing furniture.

Spongy And Thick!
This extremely spongy edge protector is so much better for preventing injury than many. Most edge protectors help with a sharp edge, but this one does so much more, since it is so thick and spongy. It’s likely to be less durable than a harder edge, protector, but this is a function of it sponginess so I don’t know how you can separate that out.I’m happy to replace it when necessary since it works so well.It is thick, and looks a little bit funky. But since it works so well, I’m totally OK with that.It comes with adhesive already attached. How well it sticks is more function of the surface that you’re sticking it to. For easy surfaces, like tile or metal or glass it sticks very well. Other surfaces may need additional tape.

Super soft!
These baby corner guards are excellent quality and give me real peace of mind knowing sharp edges are safely covered. The sponge material is super soft and thick, making it perfect for protecting little ones from bumps around tables, desks, and fireplaces. The adhesive tape is very strong, so once it’s applied, it stays in place securely. I also like that the white color blends nicely with most furniture and doesn’t look bulky or out of place. It’s easy to cut and shape to fit corners or long edges, and installation only takes a few minutes. The material is soft yet durable, and it doesn’t peel or shift over time. It’s especially great for baby-proofing larger areas since the 3.15-inch width provides extra coverage and cushioning.Overall, this is a must-have safety product for families with small children — strong, effective, and easy to install while still looking neat and tidy.

Soft and Safe, But a Bit Bulky
I picked this up to baby-proof some sharp furniture edges, and it definitely adds a layer of safety. The sponge material is soft and thick, and the wide design gives solid coverage. It was easy to cut and apply with the adhesive tape, which held well. That said, it’s pretty large and not the most attractive option. Because of the size, it doesn’t work well on every surface, especially smaller or more decorative furniture. Still, if you’re looking for maximum cushioning and don’t mind the look, it does the job.
