Zero stars. “Comfortable” mat, my a$$. It’s a layer of plain material backed with resuable shopping bag material. No filling or padding whatsoever. That’s what I get for going cheap!

Fabulous Find
This was a fabulous find. It is a great value. I ordered this Baby Gyms Play Mat for an overnight trip. I am currently caring for my infant nephew, while his mother is recuperating, and I am also caring for my baby girl who is slightly older and able to sit up. This baby gym was a perfect activity for both of them. They seemed to love the closeness. My infant nephew laid under the dangling toys and watched them, and my baby girl sit up and played the piano attached to the gym.The gym feels like it is a good quality. The play mat itself is soft against the skin. They were occupied with this in the hotel room for a really long time. It also offered a clean place for them to sit and lay. It was quick and easy to set up and pack away. It is padded and comfortable enough on carpet, but if I was going to use it on hard floors, then I might place a towel or a blanket underneath it. I washed this mat on gentle cycle, in cool water, and hung it up to dry. It did not fade, pill, or have loose threads. I think it would make a thoughtful baby shower present.

Fun times for the baby
We’ve had a few of these kinds of things over the years and this sticks out as one of the funnest. Fun green color and a bunch of distractions, little toys and entertainment. The music and lights are a hit. It definitely gets the baby’s attention and engages her. I never like to place her directly on floor and want to use something more than a blanket. This is it because of the soft pad that is comfortable even on a hardwood floor. Also protects from germs and dirt tracked in from people walking with shoes on. Light weight so good portability.

My baby absolutely loves this play mat. The piano lights up and plays music which keeps her engaged for a long time. The hanging toys are colorful and easy for her little hands to grab. It’s also soft and padded, so I feel safe letting her play on it.
