Measurement
Worried about having the sides of the mat not fit snugged in the play pen? Make sure you’re measuring from the inside of the playpen before buying the mat. We got a 50×50 playpen and a 47×47 mat and it fits perfect. Also, it says to wait 3 days for it to completely flatten, we literally go it down the first day. The instructions say you can iron it to speed up the process and it helped a lot plus having the babies in there rolling around also helped.

I purchased this for my baby’s play pen. The 50×50 fit my 50×50 play pen perfectly. It goes up a little on the sides, but I see that as added protection. It looks great and I love that it doesn’t slip around. Even though we’ve only had it a couple of weeks, you can tell it’s high quality and will last a long time.

Perfect play mat
Perfect solution for a home with hard floors and a little one. The thickness and density are perfect for giving a nice cushioned surface, but not so cushioned that it feels awkward or unstable to walk across/step on. We got the size that is essentially 5’ x 6.5’ and it’s big enough to be useful, stays in place/doesn’t slide around, but it’s also not terribly heavy or awkward to pick up and move around as needed. Glad I opted for this instead of a cheaper/thinner one. I do wish the cover could be removed for washing. We haven’t spilled anything on it yet, but a water proof lining to keep spills from reaching the foam core would also be ideal…but for the price this thing doesn’t have exactly have to last forever to be an easily justifiable purchase.

Thicker than my hammer thumb
This is perfect! I have an almost 3 month old and I’m preparing for the days of crawling, falling, and bawling. I had this carpet before for my toddler and it saved him from cracking his head on my floor so many times. This is a must have with babies! Super thick cushion – it’s thicker than the width of my hammer thumb

Muscle Mat Dupe
The design is nice; a good dupe of the muscle mat in my opinion. The thickness is great and keeps my daughter safe. It doesn’t slip due to the non-slip bottom which is great for running kiddos. Only downside is I did find a carpet beetle in it upon opening it.
