Update: good customer service
Update: I was finally able to get in touch with their customer service and they helped me resolve the issue.I really tried to love this baby monitor, but unfortunately it has totally let me down. I bought it a few months ago and just started using it. Every single night, at least once a night, the device goes offline and you can’t see the video anymore. The worst part is that it wakes up our baby who otherwise would be sleeping through the night! It’s so incredibly frustrating because we have to compromise between not seeing our baby and only having the audio parent unit, or waking up to a crying baby since he gets started by the motion/noise when the camera goes offline … this is a such an expensive product that it’s extremely upsetting!! I reached out to customer service a couple of days ago and they told me to leave feedback on the app but nothing changed and I haven’t gotten a response to my other emails since… I wish I had a different experience since I love the concept and when the camera works it’s great! Unfortunately however, there are daily issues with it..

Horrible customer service. Poor quality product.
Initially I was excited to receive this product as all new parents want the best for their children. Upon receiving product I had come across problem after problem regarding the app and quality of the camera. After so many issues I decided to return the item as it was not consistent with the quality it presented to be. I returned this product in February of 2025. We are now in September of 2025 and I still have not been given a refund for this product after being informed I would be receiving one. Amazon has not provided me with any solution for this thus far and the seller has not responded to any correspondence from myself nor Amazon.If I could give less than a star for this review I would. Do not waste time nor money on this

The perfect hybrid baby monitor!
At last my wife and I found exactly what we were looking for in a baby monitor. The Bebcare IQ has a small dedicated audio monitoring device (parent unit) that works on radio waves. This means incredible range (up to 2000 ft) and 3 days battery life on the parent unit – all without the use of wifi.The base unit also has a high powered 1080p camera with full 360 degree pan / tilt. This can be accessed over wifi on a dedicated app (so from your smartphone or tablet) and viewed from anywhere you have an internet connection. The base unit also has a temperature sensor, two way audio communication and can also feature as a nightlight that plays soft lullabies!We are extremely happy with our purchase and any questions we’ve had with the Bebcare support team have been answered quickly and to our satisfaction.

Had High Hopes
I was so excited for a low EMF option for a baby monitor and couldn’t wait to use it. I thought being able to see everything on my phone would be a nice option as well. However, I really wish I would have gone with their other monitor (the one with a video screen). It was pretty frustrating connecting to our WiFi. We had to change our WiFi name and use a lower quality WiFi. So I wish I had gotten one that doesn’t rely on WiFi. Also, anytime I need to do something else on my phone, it takes a long time to pull the video back up, which is annoying when I need to see my baby quickly. I was expecting a higher quality project for how expensive this monitor is.

Love the concept, horrible execution…
We loved the idea of a low EMF baby monitor, but please save your money. I regret hoping my experience would be different from all the other bad reviews. Don’t make my mistake.The biggest issue is that as the audio feature alerts you relatively immediately your baby is moving, but let’s say you want to look at the camera. It will literally take 60 seconds+ for the video to load, making it totally useless.Equally bothersome, the device in the baby’s room makes a clicking sound every few minutes. There have been times where I’ve stayed in the baby’s room when putting her down for a nap and witnessed her waking up and being startled from the clicking.

Great hybrid option
I did a lot of research and decided on this option. I like that I can switch between safe mode and wireless based on my needs at the time to reduce exposing my baby to emissions. I wish the app had the option to minimize and do Picture in Picture mode so I could still see the baby when I’m using another app on my phone. It gets some getting used to if you’re used to a traditional monitor but I think it’s worth it worth it.
