Best Baby Monitor because it’s SIMPLE
3 months with my newborn, this is the best baby product we bought and will continue buying for friends! Where other baby monitor products fuss around with video, monthly services, and stupidly over-engineered complex AI to watch your baby, this product shines because it’s a stupidly simple and elegant solution! IS YOUR BABY ALIVE: YES OR NO! Whenever this is on and attached anywhere on his body or clothes, I know my answer. I don’t need to wonder if I paid the bills, set up the camera right, have the app open, or even have my phone nearby. Night or day, if it stops feeling even the tiniest movement, it starts beeping, vibrating, and sending alerts!Part of what makes me so excited to support this product is that it’s a very small business with fantastic support! I’m pretty sure the support email is the developer himself, and we even started chatting about bug fixes and new features, with an update rolling out just a week later! There’s still so much I think the app can do, and I’m excited for its growth! But, in the meantime, I’m happy that it works and works so well, I’m thinking up new ways to use it!Try it! I used another similar clip monitor earlier but I didn’t like that it didn’t beep or vibrate on its own and so I couldn’t really use it without the app. But, the bempu beeps and vibrates if there is no movement and works without an app too, so I can just clip it on anytime and my parents can use it too when they are watching the baby. Plus it’s half the price, and honestly it’s twice as good as the other one I bought. It works like it’s supposed to, is reliable, takes 5 seconds to set up and gives me real peace of mind especially when I clip it on my baby at night time. I truly love this device and would recommend it to other parents without hesitation.

I think this is a great product and a wonderful budget friendly option for those looking for peace of mind. I’m taking off a star because we tested it clipped onto a swaddle in our bassinet without our daughter in there and when the vibration went off it would detect movement, even though the bassinet was obviously empty. So the vibration was getting picked up as movement, making it so the alarm wouldn’t go off even though obviously nothing was breathing under the sensor. Thankfully there is a way in the app to turn off the vibration and just alarm instead, so for that reason I’ll be keeping and using this product for extra peace of mind at night.

Reliable and Hassle-Free Breathing Monitor
We tried other monitor types and the bellybutton is the best by far. The sock monitor I got (you know which one) would alarm at least twice per night when the sensor lost contact with baby’s foot. Even making the sock uncomfortably tight doesn’t fix the issue.The Bellybutton seems like a case where the simple, easy to use, and better value solution just works better. Without sensor alignment errors or false alarms, we can actually use this thing. Alarm fatigue is real. The vibration feature works and doesn’t require the app or wifi to be connected. I didn’t measure the accuracy of the sensor but am sure its more than sufficient to give us a little extra peace of mind when baby is sick and we’re tempted to check their breath (and risk waking them up).Also nice: Charges via USB-C, no issues with battery life so far.

I had to return it did not work. It did turn on, but when I tested it to see if it will beep if it’s not moving, it didn’t beep.

Love the idea.. but disconnects!
Love the idea I truly do! BUT.. you have to leave your phone open when using the app. If you go into your messages or another app, this app will close and the device disconnects. Then you gotta go take it off the baby and start over to connect.This did give me peace of mind when it worked properly.. I just wish it was better!

If you’re looking for something to give you a peace ofMind while YOU SLEEP this is not for you. Yes it connects to the phone, yes it has an alarm. But it’s not loud at all, the phone alert is a regular notification so you’re not going to hear it. Now if you’re awake and looking at your phone periodically this could be useful, but I’m disappointed. It fell off of my baby , when I was awake and it took me a while to realize what was making the noise – it didn’t seem like something possibly urgent.

I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, especially since I already had a few other smart baby monitors. But the Bempu BellyButton really stood out for its simplicity and ease of use. Setup was super quick, including Bluetooth pairing, which only took a couple of seconds.What impressed me most is how well it stays in place, even when my baby is wiggling around during the night. And above all, it gives me real peace of mind knowing it’s tracking my baby’s movement while he sleeps. I’m really glad I decided to give this a try. Highly recommend it to any parent looking for a bit more reassurance during those early months.

Honestly an amazing little device! I use this every night and provides me with peace of mind so I’m able to get some rest without constantly worrying about my baby.It’s lightweight and small so has never got in the way and as of today has never given a false alarm.Only reason I’ve taken off a star is the fact that the app could be much better:1. It is slow2. The connection to the app drops when I’m in the next room3. App doesn’t give any notifications on breathingOverall really happy with it and if the app was better I’d have no issues at all. No idea why this isn’t much more popular!

After using it for a few nights with my brother’s two-week-old baby, it’s working well. There are no false alarms and vibrate well when no abdominal movements are detected. The app features and settings are straightforward to use and simple to connect. It’s best for a new mom and dad for peace of mind. I recommend going for it.
