Perfect first spoon to get started on baby led weaning. Lots of textures to keep baby engaged and a large base to sit the spoon up easily. Love that you have the option to connect it to a mat.

Great grippy spoon for learning to self feed
I saw this on social media and tried it out as we were starting solids with our baby and so far it’s been great. We put some puree on the tip and hold it out for our baby to grab and he guides it right towards his mouth and eats all the food off and holds it nicely. It’s got lots of grippy parts which our baby loves – he will sit at the table with us for a lot longer when eating with this spoon. I think this is a great product for starting to teach your child how to eat with utensils and to feed themselves. I do think it’s overpriced for what it is, but it does double as a teether too, so I chose to think of it as a 2 for 1 deal.

It is great for introducing foods to baby because it look/feels like a teether toy so they are inclined to grasp and bring to mouth. The grooves on the spoon makes mashing or scooping very simple. I will be buying this for all of my friends during that 6 month mark!
