A little too basic
I know I could’ve read the description a little better, but I was disappointed that the entire book is only the alphabet song. Each page must plays a snippit of the song, so it’s kind of weirdly cut-off and the pronunciation of each letter name sounds strange. I wanted my toddler to be able to learn the alphabet and letter recognition, but it’s hard to understand the letter names in this song. It’s still cute, but only hearing “A, B, C, D” on one page is boring. Not enough fun for such a hefty price tag!

Two reasons i love this book.My daughter favorite abc song. Which i know she will enjoy playing no stop by herself…And secondly i can also use it in teaching her as well myself. Basically serve two purposes for us. Am happy with book. Worth every penny for me. Good quality. Will recommend.

Ordered Cali ABC & Cali Count for my 17 month old grandson. I rate this product more than 5 Stars. After a week he is already stating his ABCs half way. Even though this book maybe costly for most kids, I may try to gift these books the babies we might know. Great Idea for most people who care.

It was great for for 24 hrs.
We ordered this for our autistic 2 yr old who loves abc songs. For one day it worked great, then the batteries must’ve went out because it stopped working and she didn’t use it very many times. We ordered the battery pack referred on this page and only the back page would work so now the book causes her meltdowns from not working so we had to hide it. I’ve never spent such money on a book and because we opened we couldn’t return. Very disappointed in the price for what we got for one day.

Cali’s books comes in four different types: sing the alphabet, baby shark, Humpty Dumpty, and dance by classical music. This is an interactive book that sings when you press the button on each page. The best part is that this book comes with batteries so you do not need to buy them separately in order to use this. This is a great way for your kids to learn their numbers and the alphabet all while having fun. The buttons are easygoing press, so your little one can turn them on and off themselves. When you are finished with the book there is a button on the back that you can switch off to save the batteries. The only downside to these books is that they are very heavy so if your little one drops this on their foot or throws it, it may hurt. Also the songs are quite loud, I wish there was some way to adjust the volume but there isn’t.

This book is definitely best for toddlers, as it’s only 6 (12) pages long.It’s easy to play the short songs – press the little silver button once to start the song, and again if you’re sick of it and want to stop the song.The cartoons are cute, and there is a fair amount of writing per page to help kids learn how to read.It helps teach the littles about all of the letters in the alphabet in a sing song way that they really enjoy.Overall, a great toddler book – we’ll be back for more.

5-stars for durability and sturdiness. Each page is thick and kids can’t tear them easily. Front and back covers are hardcover, strong.5-stars for interactive design. Each page plays the alphabet song with the press of a button on the page. Kids love it.5-stars for value for money. Considering the interactive design, overall high quality of build and construction, and the presentation, this is excellent priced at $20 (price while I write this review).

While I do love this book for its educational purposes, it is probably my least favourite Cali book because it is hard to quickly flip the pages to keep up with the song. My toddler loves to turn the pages on her own but if she turns these ones, we end up falling way behind in the song. I usually end up playing the musical version and sing along to it incorrectly so we can get through all the letters and she can turn the pages.There are only two buttons in this book, one “press and listen” and one “press and sing along” which are located in the cover. I think it would be much better if there were buttons on each page so you could take it at your own pace.I do like the simple illustrations and that each letter of the alphabet has a picture of something that starts with that letter. The sparkly cover is also very beautiful and I love the thick, durable pages (especially for rough toddlers).I love that the batteries can be replaced (3 x AG10) and that there is an on/off switch on the back of the book. I only wish there were volume settings, especially when using it before bed.
