Stays in Place
Because of back problems, I have used car cushions for years. This is the first cushion with a strap around the car seat to hold it in place, so it does not slip when I get out. It is firm, but still comfortable. The wedge shape lets my knees sit lower, which my chiropractor likes. It works very well. I like it.

It has me sitting much higher than without, so my head almost touches the ceiling. The foam is firm, especially when cold. It’s VERY COMFORTABLE!I have a 2000 Ford Ranger with 200,000 miles. The driver’s seat has collapsed due to age and I plan to have it repaired sometime during the next year. The collapsed seat had me sitting too low and my tailbone was hitting the frame. I’m 6 feet tall.This cushion is a prefect solution for my worn out seat!

This is a great wedge cushion. It is a bit on the firm side for my taste, but it does the job. I have some serious back issues and I need to tilt back a little more than most while sitting to keep the pressure off the nerves in my lower spine and sacrum. Some people call this kind of pain “dead butt syndrome” (although for me it felt more like everything was on fire). This cushion is great to combat that, but to accomplish the needed effect, I use it flipped around backwards with the tall part in the front of the chair. I use this in my office chair for pain relief. I would also use one in my vehicle if I hadn’t already installed Desert Does It seat jackers, which are also extremely effective. If you get “dead butt syndrome,” this cushion might be worth a try.

On the plus side, I really appreciate any product of this type that arrives with no plastic smell, or so little that I don’t have to worry about it. This was pretty neutral from day one and I was happy about that.On the minus side – why on earth does everything have to be memory foam now? I don’t want this thing to remember my butt print and conform to me. I want it to act like what it purports to be: a wedge that gives me more height in the car seat. Specifically, I want it to stop me sinking back into that weirdly angled seat shape that makes the front of the seat dig into my thighs and start cutting off the circulation after an hour or so in the car.In the faroff days before all things were memory foam, I had a wedge that was just a wedge. A nice firm simple supportive chunk of foam that never remembered anything. It was my pal. It is no more, and I miss it.The fabric on this new one is more sophisticated. It’s a kind of synthetic that seems to feel a little oily or something, but I don’t sleep on it and its functionality is good. It’s just that I still need more height under my tailbone, even with this on the car seat. At the moment, it’s better than nothing. Time will tell how long it will last without compressing too much.

Very good quality and fit. It helps ease the pain I get when sitting, in gluts and hamstrings. I gave it a 4 as it mashes down a bit too much for my weight (180lbs.) But, it helps even still.

Nada más comprar el coche un Hyundai i20 mi pareja no iba cómoda en el asiento del pasajero, ya que tenía mucho ángulo (tiene problemas de espalda), a punto estaba de vender el coche. My wife couldn’t adjust the drivers seat in her Audi TT sports car in order to see properly. Bought this wedge shaped bolster for her a while ago and it works very well – it’s both comfortable and practical. Previously we tried standard shape bolsters – she wasn’t happy with them – they forced her lower legs too high for the pedals, which isn’t good for driving. It also has a strap to prevent sliding about – which is important for safety. It’s been tried summer and winter with no complaints. Go for it.
