A great solution to a problem you don’t think is a big deal until you are in the thick of it. I left this item out of the baby registry because several people told me it really wasn’t necessary. However, babies go through a crazy amount of diapers, and they have to be changed at a moments notice. It’s really nice to have a specific trash can for them, that contains the smell and can be taken out so easily. It also fits an impressive amount of diapers, so if you use the ream well, it’s worth it. Pro tip, when you tie the bag on one end, don’t then pull the bag down to the bottom of the pail to try and make space for the diapers. Tie the bag close to the top and just push the diaper down normally, it will stretch as needed. It sounds silly, but I can’t tell you how much of the bag gets wasted otherwise. The bags are not perforated, it one long ream of plastic bag, so you want to be careful of not wasting a ton of it on empty space. Once it’s full, it will start pushing the top up. You can then use the little cutter on the inside to cut the bag close to the top. Just enough to tie up the top. Well worth it!

I bought this diaper genie for my furdog’s poop. We are taking his poop bag outside our regular garbage can and it really smells bad, like we can smell it whenever we pass by. So I was amazed by this thing because I can’t smell the dog’s poop at all!! And I placed this pail inside our house and no problem at all! Not too pricey and very effective!
