Perfect for dogs
We have house renovations going on in various stages and needed gates to keep them out of the areas being worked on. This gate is awesome because it can stay in place and doesn’t need to be put up and taken down every time like the old fashioned one we were using. Having the door in the gate makes things so easy and keeps our dogs safe. The height is perfect for our dogs and still easy to use for us.

EASY installation – just remember NOT to cut the bands before install!
GREAT size. Comes compressed so installation is a breeze, you just have to cut the bands and it’s ready to be installed with their pressure sides. Opens relatively easy with one hand, although 2 is much easier, and is sturdy enough that my great pyrenees has only tried for a day to open it and has given up. Great instructions!

Bows & latch mechanism busted/easily broken
Please do not order if it’s going across anywhere without support. The latch mechanism was busted on my first but the attachments bow in/out (not enough metal support for additions. I’m so mad I put so much work into it and a replacement. They don’t respond to your messages for parts being replaced and it will take 30 some days to get my money back!!! I have 6 others and this deserves 0 stars.

Flexible installation
This gate is a great option for hard to fit openings. We have an extra wide landing on our stairs that has been hard to fit due to decorative molding. This gate was easy to install with minimal help. The latch adjustment was quick to get the gate to swing freely. I like the one handed operation.

Needs Instructions improvements
I’m pleased with this gate overall. It’s sturdy, looks nice and it does exactly what I need it to do (keep my dogs out of a specific room). I will say it’s a bit hard to open, which can be tricky if you’re carrying something or in a hurry. Also, the instructions were pretty lacking, so it took longer than expected to figure out how to install it. Once it was up, though, it’s been great.
