The Feelworld Lut7 monitor is a great find for this price. The 2200nit Touch Screen is a MUST HAVE. I have been able to use it on bright, sunny, beach days without the need for an additional sun-hood because of how bright it gets. That brightness will also save you on those cloudy, overcast days. On-camera monitors tend to throw back a harsh, almost mirror-like, reflection where the Feelworld Lut7 is clean and easy to see (see video for an example and an unboxing). The 7inch screen is nice because it allows you to pull up other items like RGB Parade, Vectorscopes, Grids, Audio Levels, etc. and still have plenty of room to monitor your video (again see video example). This monitor has a lot of the professional features you would find on much pricier models at a more affordable price. False Colors, RGB Parade, Wave, Vectorscope, Audio Bars, Audio and HMDI Out, LUT support…I could go on an on. Again, for this price range it is a great monitor!

Good budget option for field use
This is a surprisingly decent little daylight monitor. When you buy something like this for less than three bills, you have to expect some limitations like so-so color fidelity and a clunky interface. Overall, it’s been working for me to do framing and basic exposure on a camera or as a directors monitor. Very good brightness, decent features, ability to use LUTs. One main issue is that the power input is too close to the 1/4″ mounting point. If you have it mounted on a plate, it will block the external power input. It’s also not the most durable of product. It’s pretty plasticy so will probably not survive a drop or two. Just keep in mind that this is a budget product so there will be quality control issues. Don’t solely judge by those that got bad units. If you get a good one, it works well for what it is. I have two and have been lucky. They’ve both worked without any issues.

Bright As Sunlight, Weak Plastic Enclosure
This is a fantastic value for a fairly accurate field monitor, you don’t need a hood to be able to clearly see exposure and focus even on a flat log image. The SD-card reader for LUTs is super convenient so it’s easy to load LUTs onto the monitor, and the dual-battery capability is nice for when you have long shoot days and don’t want to worry about battery life. I’d estimate that a NP-F970 lasts ~3.5 hours on full brightness, but keep in mind that if you load it with two NP-F970’s that it’ll overload the side mount of the display. The mounts are basically brass threads glued onto one half of the plastic housing, so it’s incredibly fragile and after one shoot day, it cracked and I needed to switch to using the other side of the monitor to mount. My suggestion is to either use two lightweight batteries if you’re using this on a hand-operated camera, or use multiple mount points to distribute the load. 2xNP-F970’s and mounting it the way it suggests in the product photos will result in the side mount cracking.TLDR; It’s a fantastic value for a very bright field monitor, it’s a no-brainer for anyone who’s shooting outside and need something that’s lightweight and large. Just be careful to not crack the plastic mounting points by overstressing them.

Amazingly BRIGHT!!!
First thing, wow this monitor is super bright in the midday sun!! My main reason for purchase was it’s 2200 nits. Compared to my other 7″ monitor this blows it away in that regard. It’s definitely a nice size also, 7″ seems to be my preferred monitor size these days no matter what rig i’m using. Build is nice, it’s lightweight and most importantly easy to use. Customizable buttons on top also help a lot when operating quickly. I do most of my work shooting outdoors so this is a no-brainer. Has all the features you need too like false color, LUTs, all the scopes, anamorphic etc etc…some competitors may have slightly more rugged feel, but how can you beat the price point of this monitor? Definitely recommend this to anyone shooting video…loving it!!

Very disappointed
I bought this product to use along with my cannon being as though it did not have a reversible screen so I could see myself and things were going good at first however out the blue the screen stopped syncing with the camera even though it’s plugged in properly and now it won’t sync at all. Just very disappointed tbh. But the quality and everything was great before that.

Power button doesn’t work after just 6 weeks of owning
Barely used and doesn’t work after just 3 shoots. Kept in a hard pack and no impact, yet the power button no longer presses. I can’t get it to power back up so it’s basically worthless.Of all parts to make with cheap plastic and minimal resistance, I don’t understand why the power button would be. There doesn’t seem to be a good way to get a refund or response from Feelworld.The price is cheap, but it should last more than it’s 1 month warranty. I’ll update if Feelworld fixes the issue.

I had previously purchased two FEELWORLD monitors for my Lumix cameras, and now this one for my BMPCC 6k camera. It arrived with a small power issue, and after contacting them, they sent a new replacement before I could even box up the faulty one. That is EXCELLENT customer service! The monitor itself is so handy for professional video shoots. Scopes on demand, and a super bright, clear image. The touch screen makes it easy to navigate menus on-the-go as well. I will definitely buy from this company again and again, and I highly recommend this monitor.

Very good overall. But I do have some issues with this product.One real problem I have is when I try to record video in 4K mp4 format, the screen goes blank and gives me a “no signal” dialogue.Also, the battery indicator seems to be hidden behind other icons and I am unable to access and find out how much battery I have left!
