    Great Monitor with Aluminum Body!
As always, Feelworld comes through with an excellent monitor to add to your kit!Since I do primarily video production, this monitor is perfect! Its lightweight and aluminum body! Has great color and the functions built in are awesome!I love that you can do the 9×16 ratio so that if youre recording in widescreen, you can compose your image in a 9×16 frame so that in post production you can create both Horizontal and Vertical exports!Comes with a battery thats USB C rechargeable and has a batter life indicator. Also comes with very sturdy carry case to house the monitor and accessories. Its a great monitor with great color, built in functions and a lot of bang for your buck!Definitely something to have your carry case for external viewing!

    Good monitor
How I Use It:So I’ve been using this Feelworld camera monitor for two months mainly for my small business.Features that stood out to me:The waveform feature works great, and I also really liked the lut because it simplifies my day a lot. The battery life was pretty good too, I tend to get more work done.My Personal Experience:If I compare this one against the others I’ve used, this one is just plain better. I wasn’t expecting to like the waveforms as much as I did.Pros and Cons:What was good: easy to use, waveforms. What was not: value for money, bulkiness, resolution.Durability:After two months, it still does its job the first time every time with no fuss. I can’t really ask for more.Final Thoughts:Overall this is best for pro types. It’s been good for me and my needs and I’d buy it again.

Rich with Professional Features; Excellent Value Considering the Scope of the Kit.
My first impression, and my last, is that at its price point, the Freeworld T6 Feld Monitor is an excellent value for those on a budget. As a kit, it includes accessories not often found with more expensive monitors. In addition, it’s basically a full featured monitor in terms of the color, exposure analysis, and compositional tools it offers. Mover, it can handle of 3D LUT’s.; what you see on screen is what you get on file. Also available are a full array of very useful tools for checking focus, along with on screen sound monitoring. All on-screen tools are adjustable for x-y coordinates; they can be moved and arranged based on user preference.Physical features include HDMI Loop-Out, that allows the connection of another HDMI device, for example a wireless video transmitter or another monitor. There are three programmable custom buttons for quick access to often used tools, there is a 5.5mm power output port of 8V to power a camera and 12V input port for external power to the monitor. In addition, there’s a headphone jack for live stereo sound monitoring and a USB-C 5V input for powering the monitor with a power bank or other USB device. Power can also be provided by the included F550 battery. The monitor has 1/4″ threads on both it’s vertical and horizontal dimensions so that it can be mounted in either of those orientations. FeelWorld includes as part of the delivery a tiltable, coldshoe mounting adapter.I don’t feel there’s any point in making comparisons between Freeworld’s T6 monitor and those costing 3x – 5x as much; if the reader were interested in spending that money, they wouldn’t be reading this review. But to be clear, the two features that separate the Freeworld from more expensive monitors are its maximum brightness, stated in the included quick start guide as 450 cd/m2 or, if you like, 450 nits (1 cd/m2 = 1 nit), and that it does not incorporate touchscreen control. Generally, the higher the maximum brightness of a field monitor, the more it costs, with $300 – $700 monitors reaching 2000 – 3000 nits of brightness. Those will also have touchscreen capabilities. It’s outdoors that the limited brightness of the Freeworld monitor will make itself evident. In open shade its not too bad, but in open sunlit areas it is difficult to see fine detail, including analysis features, although there are focusing aids in the menu that can help, for example varying levels of zoom. But the bigger issue is trying to view the monitor while the user themself is brightly lit; mostly what will be seen on the screen is their own reflection. 450 nits is not enough luminance to overcome reflections in a brightly lit environment, even with the provided sun shade. Indoors, in a studio environment, there’s no problem viewing the screen. On the other hand, it’s probably more readable in any environment than the small monitor of a DSLR. However, an should be a consideration depending on what types of working environment the monitor will be used. On the other hand, a dark cloth can be used for viewing outdoors, similar to those used with a view camera. The screen is fully adjustable for color temperature, grayscale viewing range (Auto, limit, or full), numerical RGB inputs, contrast, brightness, etc. There is also an HDR feature for an extended contrast range. There are also options for the amount of time and on-screen menu is displayed. It took me a little practice to figure out the menu system and how to navigate it. There’s a menu button that also serves as a selection button, up/down arrowed buttons for navigating the OSD, and an exit button for backing out of submenus. The quick start guide doesn’t provide a lot of clarity, but it does include a bar code that can be scanned to download a more complete user manual that provides much more succinct information. Conveniently, there are three programmable buttons that can be user defined for quick access to preferred features, like false color, scopes, focusing aids, and crop ratios, etc. I typically use waveforms, histogram and false colors. It even has user defined anamorphic de-squeeze options which is a convenience for those using anamorphic lenses. Two key features of the T6 monitor are “User Switch” and its ability to save up to three user defined working environments that are retrieved with the push of a button. The user sets up the screen with the preferred menu items that may include an exposure aid, focusing aid, marker, grid, etc., then save the selections to one of the available physical buttons to be recalled at will. Or set up three working environments, one for focus, another for exposure and a third for composition and quickly switch between them for less clutter on the screen. The same is true of the “User Switch,” however those require navigating to the “System” menu and making a selection of 1 – 4.The Freeworld has most, if not all of the tools anyone would need, including the ability to upload and view real time, up to 32 user LUT’s (Look Up Tables). The included hood is easily attached and detached using a Velcro type hook and loop system that runs along a removeable frame on three sides. And of course, all of the internal components are house in the T6’s aluminum frame. Nonetheless, it’s one of the lightest, if not the lightest 6″ monitors I’ve used.In the end, what do I think? At its price point, and considering the scope of what’s included in the kit, that is a zippered hard case, an HDMI-to-HDMI mini cable, an NP-F550 USB-C rechargeable battery, and a respectable sunshade, it’s an excellent value. Its strengths are its milieu of professional features, more than most will ever use, and the convenience of saving user preferences. Its weaknesses are the limited brightness of the screen and that running through menus manually takes a little more time than a touch screen might. However, the majority of users typically have their favorite and most often used tools anyway, quickly recalled with the push of a button, so that the lack of a touchscreen feature will have little impact. Of course, if those are issues, be prepared to spend 2.5x – 5x the cost of the T6. It is what it is, and in my opinion, that’s a lot for $130.

A nice field monitor for your creative uses, but read your product manuals!
I volunteer as a videographer for my daughter’s high school performances, and have always wanted a field monitor for the 4K camcorder I use. I saw the FEELWORLD T6 6 Inch Camera Field DSLR Video Monitor and thought this would be a great addition for my use. I tested this monitor with my camcorder and it worked great – I was really looking forward to using this for a show I’d be recording. At the show, it was great to help me setup my zoom and focus settings. Uh, ok, so my camcorder does not output to the external HDMI when recording. Sigh. Oh well, I have a nice field monitor to test my setups, but can’t use it during a recording. Not a fault of the field monitor, but definitely a fault of this user not fully reading my camcorder’s manual. The field monitor is rather nice, I’m not sure how it compares to others as this is my first field monitor. I used it with an external USB power bank so can’t comment on the provided battery. I’ll need to test this with my DSLR, but that was not a use case in mind when I made this purchase. Overall, I give the field monitor 5 stars for the sturdy build, the features, the included accessories (battery, cables, mount, etc.) and the color accuracy and resolution were very good. I give myself 0 stars for not reading my camcorder manual which would have saved me the cost of this monitor, but that’s on me!

    4K DSLR field monitor
It is a very functional monitor that is really well built and high quality. It is a lightweight monitor. It has great color accuracy, can go up to 4K quality and is an excellent value.

    Nice budget monitor.
This FEELWORLD T6 6 inch camera field video monitor works as described and is a great budget accessory. If you don’t need a more expensive touchscreen monitor then this should work for you. The menus are all button driven and it is not the brightest NIT (Only 450) screen but it has most all of the same features as the more expensive monitors. You get the monitor, a nice mount, carry case, NPF-550 battery with USB-C charging port and cable, and a sun hood in the kit. I have no issues with this monitor for what you get.

El nuevo T6 de FEELWORLD es ideal! Como siempre, muy poco peso y una calidad de imagen estupenda. Además, viene con bastantes accesorios, ahí dejo el vídeo 🙂
