Purchase to replace one from the Body Shop. Can’t seem to get their site to work now days. But my daughter recommended this one. Purchased one for myself and one for my granddaughter. It is absolutely fabulous!! Loved how long (length) this is, easy to rinse clean, however I did think it was expensive. Definitely makes you feel your every itch has been scratched. Great exfoliator, makes your body feel really good.

The GOSHI Exfoliating Shower Towel Works for Me
This exfoliating shower towel is my first purchase of this kind of product, so I didn’t know what to expect. I found that lathering the tower first and using it was less satisfying than first using it soap-less to give the back an initial rougher scrubbing before then following up with the towel being soaped. I think the latter method is more effective in exfoliating, cleaning, and rinsing as the fabric quality is less “abrasive” when soap has been applied. Overall, I feel it is good value for the money and is easy enough to hold as it’s being used.

Awesome shower towel
I just bought a second shower towel for my husband to use. This towel is easy to make smaller or use long for your back. Texture is excellant – not sure how it is able relieve the itch of my back and yet be delicate enough for compromised skin from lymphedema on my legs. Actually think it makes my showers go quicker because not using brushes, washcloths, and/or poufs. Both shower gel and bars of soap create wonderful lather.

I’ve used various grades of Japanese style of wash cloths over the years. The last several were were bought at the 99 Cent store. Only because of convenience and cost at the timeThat wonderful chain store has gone bye-bye and my last wash cloth was starting to fall apart as they doA quick search on Amazon and I found this. Looked okay at least by the photos, but that price seemed steep. I ordered it and waitedTried it the next day and wow! What a difference $20 makes versus 99 cents! I felt clean for the first time in many years. More so than that cheaper brand. It was serviceable. It got soap onto skin, anything more than that asking too much lolI can whole heartedly recommend this wash cloths it feels luxurious and premium. I’m going to buy a few more for my sister and brother later

Great – plus unexpected benefit for laundry
I got one of these for myself and I really love it! Helps with dry skin and it’s so much better than a loofa since you can throw it in the wash and reuse it with no problem. One unexpected benefit is that my regular bath towel stays nicer – I dry myself off about 75% with this little GOSHI towel and then finish up with my bath towel. My husband 100% uses his bath towel. Since we live in a damp coastal climate, his towel gets very wet and never quite dries out – meaning I need to wash it more often as it gets kinda musty. Meanwhile, my towel always stays fresh because I mostly dry off w/ the GOSHI – and because it’s such thin material it dries out quickly.

Does the job efficiently and effectively
I have used several exfoliating shower towels over the years and this has worked the best for several reasons. First, it is very generously sized. Second, it is just abrasive enough to provide a good scrub without being either too rough or too smooth. Third, since it is made out of nylon, it does not absorb the soapy water, which allows it to lather easily with little soap. This may seem counterintuitive, but think of how well your screens hold soapy water when your washing your windows – not because they’re absorbing the soap but because the screen cells are so small. The weave of this fabric does something analogously. Fourth, because it is made out of nylon (and hence, doesn’t absorb the soapy water), it rinses easily. Again, think of how easily it is to rinse your window screens. Fifth, it has a luxurious feel.

I was going to get a cheaper one that was locally supplied, but I went with this one from Japan and it arrived today. My shower was devine. Who knew I could be surprised and delighted after so long?It’s abrasive enough to exfoliate but still somehow soft and fluffy. It absorbs shower gel well, and holds it, meaning you don’t have to use much. And, it reaches places I haven’t scrubbed in too long 😀 Seriously, even if it takes a week or two to arrive, get this one.
