Last winter, I always bought hand warmers directly at the ski resort, so this year I decided to stock up in advance. Since my child skis five times a week, we go through them pretty quickly. The size of these hand warmers is just right; they fit nicely inside kids’ gloves and jacket pockets. During the first hour, the temperature reaches around 136°F, and after that, it stays steady at around 117°F for several hours. When it’s freezing outside, that’s actually a very comfortable temperature. Each transparent pack contains 11 hand warmers. Once you tear one open and expose it to the air, it starts heating up within about a minute and reaches around 122°F in about two minutes. Overall, the value for money is excellent, much cheaper than buying them at the resort. I’ve only tested one so far, and if the quality varies later, I’ll update my review. Hopefully, all the warmers stay consistently warm.

I love these disposable hand warmers. They are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and are air activated. They actually last up to 12 hours and I can attest that they definitely last 8 hours. I have been using them at the hockey games and they have stayed warm for the 8 hours that I used them. When I put them inside of my mittens or gloves they are so very warm and I love the convenience of them being disposable. I would definitely recommend buying these, very good price for a large box.

Keeps hands/feet warm
These disposable hand warmers are lifesavers when working or playing sports outside during the winter. They are much less expensive than those sold in the stores, so they’re a good value. They are most effective when placed in socks or gloves. They take a few minutes to warm up, so it’s not a big shock as they get warm. I also think it’s best to put them in your socks/gloves before you go outside so your hands/feet maintain temperature, rather than trying to warm up after you’re already freezing cold. I use them for a couple of hours at a time, so I can’t speak to longevity.
