Easy to put together with the proper screwdriver.
I am glad I didn’t listen to the reviews on the difficulty of putting this together. They supply a small screwdriver for the hardware which is difficult to use. I used my own, heavy duty, screwdriver and it worked perfectly. The directions are little confusing, but are doable. This clothes rack is stable and sturdy for the money. I highly recommend it!

Flimsy and missing piece
If I could give this no stars, I would. Incredibly flimsy. The bars that hold clothes were already bent before unpacking. Assembling it was a hassle; some the screws didn’t screw in tightly. I had one piece to go to complete assembly when I discovered the piece was the wrong one. It didn’t have the screw holes to attach the hook, which must be latched to keep the rack upright. I disassembled the whole thing thinking that I must have used that piece elsewhere. But no, it’s just the wrong piece in the box. Returned it within hours of idelivery. Junk.

Not Easy
It’s definitely not easy to put together.I had a similar issue as other reviewers where the screws weren’t going all the way in. There aren’t really threaded holes so you’re basically creating it in the metal as you screw them in.The instructions aren’t the easiest to read as you balance the thing and force the screws in, so get familiar with them first. I took a picture because this honestly would have made get a different one if I had seen it beforehand.If you don’t have full use of your arm I wouldn’t recommend it. Any kind of arthritis or immobility and it would have been impossible. You will also need a screwdriver, which makes it possible to get the screws in. You should also put the legs together before you attach them to the rounded ends – it’ll be a lot easier to maneuver.While it wasn’t a joy to put together, it seems really good for my needs which is a space-saving drying rack that I could to dry a few pieces of clothing. I gave it five stars because the end product is exactly what I wanted and this wasn’t the most difficult thing I’ve assembled.

Decided to purchase this after reading wide ranging reviews that were posted, particularly comments stating this item was difficult to assemble and the screws were hard to install. I consider myself quite handy and put together IKEA furniture with ease. I found the instructions quite clear and the manufacturer not only labeled the parts on the protective plastic but also attach label stickers (A, B, C, etc.) on the actual parts. I have come across some items that are totally useless and head scratching. (For example, the instructions for a portable washing machine said after draining you go to prison!)A hex key/Phillips screwdriver is included, but I used my own screwdriver since it provides more leverage. Note that there are a lot of parts so it’s not a 2 minute assembly. I had no problem assembling and didn’t have any issues with the screws. Another reviewer posted the instruction sheet, so you can decide yourself if you’re capable. In summary, works as advertised. Assembly is moderate level mainly due to the number of parts.

Really loving this
This drying rack has been awesome for our family so far. The capacity is pretty great and it’s even a little taller than I expected. It holds all of our air dry clothes in one standard load of laundry. I like the flexibility of being able to use hangers and also hanging directly on the rack. I’ve had an accordion drying rack in the past and I prefer this new style. It folds up super thin and takes up less space than even an accordion. FYI, it takes about 15-20 minutes to assemble and I had to use my own screw driver to make it work. A couple of the screws needed a good amount of force to go in so a little muscle is required. Super happy with this item and would definitely recommend.

Falls down
Bought this for the size but the top rack collapses constantly. The little bars that connect it are too short. Really annoying!

I found it impractical. Unless using hangars, it does not hold enough clothes. Way too expensive

DO NOT BUY AT ANY COST
This is honestly the worst thing I’ve ever bought on Amazon. The screws do not fully enter where they need to go due to poor build quality. Because of that this rack is very flimsy. It also takes way too long to put together because of struggling with the screws. I would recommend buying some other drying rack even if it costs a bit more money because this one has so many problems.

There is a lot of tension on legs as you assemble. The top keeps coming off the braces after assembly, I will have to tie it down.
