Perfect Baby Monitor… for My Cat
I don’t have a baby, but I bought this to keep an eye on my cat — and it works amazing for pets too. The video quality is super clear, and the night vision lets me see exactly what she’s doing when I’m not home (usually causing trouble 😅).The app updates quickly and I actually love the little activity stats. Obviously I don’t need the heart-rate feature for a cat, but it still picks up movement really well. The 2-way audio is also surprisingly useful… she actually responds when I talk to her through it 😂Setup was easy, and no subscription fees is a big plus. If you’re a pet owner wanting to check in on your fur baby, this monitor works way better than I expected.Highly recommend for pets!

Love this monitor! I’ve been using this baby monitor for a while now, it has far exceeded my expectation. The heart rate, breathing and sleep monitoring is incredibly convenient. The video quality is great and I can easily see every corner of the room. Night vision is clear. My WIFI sometimes can be a unstable so I love that it connects to both 2.4G and 5G, so it stays connected without signal dropouts. The alerts for crying and face-covering risks are fast. Overall, thoughtfully designed, brings a lot of peace of mind.

No subscriptions, clear video
Setup was quick, about ten minutes from downloading the app to getting the camera connected over WiFi. The app is easy to use and makes all the features accessible without a subscription, which is a big plus. I personally HATE that all companies lean toward subscriptions. Video is sharp with clear night vision and the camera covers the whole crib and room with no issue. It tracks heart rate, breathing, sleep, and will alert you if the baby cries, so it covers everything you would expect from a smart monitor. The brand is not as well known as some of the bigger ones but the build feels solid and reliable. As with any connected camera there is always the thought of unwanted access, but the privacy mode lets you disable the feed completely when not in use.

Fantastic, no frills, no subscription baby monitor with great features
As far as the baby monitors I’ve had the chance to use, this pretty well blows them all out of the water. It was very easy to set up and get running, the app is very straightforward and nice to use, it has a ton of modern features, and best of all – the company doesn’t try to wring more money out of you after the fact! Easy recommendation, even at its current price.Pros+ Dead simple to get running out of the box. It was basically just connecting to power and wifi with the app, with a QR code that needs to be scanned to link.+ Great video clarity. It’s “only” 1080p when some other cameras brag about 2k or 4k, but it’s plenty.+ Pan and tilt are both smooth and easy to use through the app.+ Contactless heart rate and breathing blew me away. They’re features I didn’t even really know were possible – for fun, I decided to try them on myself and they work shockingly well. Heart rate was very close to what my watch was reporting, and I could see my own breathing plotted on a graph.+ Camera feels very well built, which might come in handy for a hard fall if you’re just placing it on a ledge instead of mounting it.+ Notifications and alerts were very simple to set up in the app and seem to work pretty well. The app has granular control for what you want it to alert you about, which is nice.ConsNone to speak of for the time being!

Application needs improvement (a lot)
The app functions differently on iOS and Android devices. For instance, on my Pixel 9 (Android), I can choose between Fahrenheit or Celsius for the monitor display, but this option is unavailable on an iPhone 10 Mini. However, the iPhone allows zooming into the monitor display, which the Pixel does not. Notification settings can be adjusted on both platforms, but on my Pixel, notifications only work when the app is active in the foreground, not in the background. On the iPhone, notifications function reliably in both scenarios. Additionally, there’s a persistent connection issue when viewing the monitor display continuously. Reconnecting requires closing and reopening the app.The signal monitoring feature only works if the baby is not sleeping on their stomach. If an adult enters the monitor’s range, it mistakenly tracks the adult instead of the infant. The signal monitoring can also be inconsistent at times.Regarding the hardware, the floor stand does not match the product image. Specifically, the stand’s base is not curved as depicted. See the attached image for reference.While I appreciate that the AI features don’t require a subscription, the issues described above lead me to return the product.
