【TARGETED PRESSURE RELIEF WITH 128 LARGER AIR CELLS】:Experience deeper comfort with 128 larger air cells of our medical air mattress for bed sores that deliver more powerful and targeted support than smaller-cell designs. Genius invention and required use to prevent bed sores.
I bought the same brand designed for the bed and wrote a great review and at the same time bought this for the recliner. If you have an invalid in your home, use these on their bed and chair to prevent bed sores. It has alternating rows of air bubbles, similar to a fancy air mattress. It has a quiet pump that inflates one set of rows and after about 5 minutes it quietly and subtly deflates them as it inflates the alternate set of rows, thus preventing constant pressure on any one part of the body.

Good for people who can’t move much
This works well to keep my mom more comfortable since she doesn’t/can’t move much. I deleted a star due to a strap broke before we even had it hooked to the chair.

Recliner air mattress
He loves it. Very comfortable and will help him from getting bed sores.

chair mattress
the mattress does not stay in one place it slides down the chair. after 3 hours of sitting n it it will make your back and knees hurt. took the pressure off my feet though. felt great on my feet

Easy to use.
Does the job. Seems to slide down the chair, though, no matter how we adjust the straps. After a couple weeks of use, it developed a leak near the air hose connections. With the Pad sliding down with chair operation, it appears to have been hitting the floor.

Too hard on head section
Great concept, I purchased for my grandmother due to trying to prevent bed sores as she is in her recliner 99% , the softer side was still very hard and main issue is the head section, gave her a migraine, try it several times and settings with same results

Lumpy, but it gets the job done.
I recently because the primary caregiver of a 90 year old woman who had broken her hip. While she could move around some, I did worry about the amount of time that she was just sitting, and worried about not only getting bed sores, but about her existing sores from the hospital getting worse. Then, just a week after that, my husband fell and was bed ridden for months. Gads! Now I had to keep another person moving who was actually immobile! We are worried that he may need another surgery now, so we got this so I have it at the ready. Although I have not used it for an actual bed-ridden person yet, these are my initial thoughts….Easy clean cover for the win! This mat inflates super fast and quietly, and you can choose from five different stiffness levels (with one being soft and five being firm). The cover has straps that snap into place, so you can easily attach it to a reclining chair. (We would use it both on a reclining couch and in a bed so we’d move it from place to place). It comes with a repair patch just in case. I have not used this yet, but these are always hit or miss. I’ll just hope I never have to use it.). You can use it for alternating pressure (it cycles about every 6 minutes) or keep it on constantly. You’ll notice a little vibration at your ankles and feet when you’re lying down, and you can definitely feel the air rolling in and out of the mat. It’s a bit lumpy, but I guess that can’t be helped with the chambers that do the pressure-changing, and connecting the rubber hose to the mat and the machine was kind of a hassle since it needs to fit really tightly, and the hose opening is almost the same size as the air vents. But that is a small price to pay… because bed sores are NO JOKE. It took months for the sores to clear up on the elderly person I cared for, and that was with myself or a traveling care giver treating those sores every day. I really wish the hospital had sent us home with something like this to begin with. It would have helped take the pressure off me (Pun not intended)It comes in a small box that got kind of destroyed in shipping, but with a LOT of effort you can get it back insode for storage.

Fantastic for my elderly father who spends far too much time in his recliner and then complains about pain. The device isn’t silent, but it’s not anything jarring. Took my dad a day or two to get used to it but now loves it and no more pain. Maybe not the best idea to set this up as he will probably spend even more time in the chair!

My Elderly Mum is in her late 80’s now and with her Many Accumulating Ailments, she often Struggles with something us Younger Folk take for Granted, which is Sitting Comfortably? – With this “Kekoy” Branded Alternating Pressure Mattress, it Helps Alleviate this Issue! It does this by Increasing/Decreasing the Pressure of different Air-Pockets within the Mattress, which is then Controlled via a Number of Modes on the Supplied Compact Pump. It all seems to Work Well and although the Pump isn’t totally Silent, it’s certainly not Loud enough to Disturb my Mum in any way? Price wise, you can’t put a Cost on the Comfort & Wellbeing of a Loved one, so I think £139.99 for something that actually does what it’s supposed to, isn’t bad and overall, My Elderly Mum Couldn’t Be Happier With It! Thank you.

I got this for elderly mum who spends most of her day in a recliner chair. She also has poor circulation in her lower legs. She also has dementia. She already has a gel cushion as she was getting bed sores from sitting so long so I thought would be worth a try.Her response has initially been a bit negative as she does not like the feeling of it inflating and deflating beneath her – her dementia means that she does not understand why this is needed.. This means she is also unable to operate the pump on her own. It can take a lot of time for her to accept new treatments and therapies so I will persist – for now only using it when I am also present in the house. It is intended to be kept on all the time though. What you get is what looks like an inflatable plastic mattress made up of a number of cells. There is a mains powered pump that inflates and then maintains the flow of air in and out – rubber tubes connect in and out direct from the pump to the mattress. There is a cover which goes over the mattress. It all seems to stay in place OK. The underside of the cover has a rubberised non-slip surface which seems to keep the mattress in place – there are also straps to attach to the chair but I have not used those yet.The pump itself is quiet but of course is not completely silent. This is not a problem with my mum as her hearing is not that good so she is not aware of it. It only uses 10W so this means it will costs less than a light bulb to run. There are some concerns about how durable this will be – there is a patch repair kit if needed but this will not deal with any problems with the seams. There was no information about the warranty so I assume this is just the standard one year.Overall I can see this really helping my mum stay healthy.Recommended.

I’m using this air pressure mattress on the chair in my mum’s room. She is 90 and struggles with pain and has very poor mobility.Because she is in bed a lot and sat out for an hour or two during the day she is susceptible to pressure sores and this cushion helps manage them and also prevent them.Different areas inflate and deflate in cycles constantly shifting pressure points and helping to reduce damage. It has a variable, very simple control which adjusts the firmness and so my mum can personalise it.It also has a static mode which provides stability and support. It’s very easy to set up, and it’s lightweight but feels durable and robust. While it’s marketed for a recliner I’m using it on a comfy bedside chair and it’s working well.My mum says she finds it relaxing, and says it makes her feel like she is adrift in a boat. The movement is gentle like a small wave. It’s also very quiet so it doesn’t disturb her, and it’s simple to keep clean and wipe down.It arrives with a repair kit which will increase longevity, a straightforward manual, and is fairly priced in my opinion.I hope you find my experiences helpful.
