ULTIMATE PEACE OF MIND: Featuring patented Wakeup Technology to continually monitor abdominal movement and alert parents if no abdominal movement is detected, the Oma Sense smart baby monitor is a wearable baby monitor for infants that offers priceless peace of mind. Because we know being a parent can be hard enough.
GENTLY STIMULATES BABY: If the baby sleep monitor detects no abdominal movement for 15 seconds, a randomized series of vibrations initiates to gently rouse your little one and stimulate normal abdominal movement to resume. Unlike other sleep monitor devices, Oma Sense has no skin contact.
AUDIBLY ALERTS CAREGIVERS: If abdominal movement is not re-established 5 seconds after the initial alert, the baby abdominal movement monitor will initiate an audible emergency alarm to alert parents and caregivers so that they can act and respond quickly.
DESIGNED IN CANADA: Designed in Canada and made with medical grade materials, the Levana Oma Sense baby monitor slips comfortably over baby’s diaper, pants or buttoned-up onesie requiring zero skin contact. With zero WiFi, radio or Bluetooth frequencies, this is a baby newborn essential for infants between 0-6 months old.
EVERYONE RESTS EASY: A flashing blue light on the baby safety monitor unit reassures that everything is as it should be. Offering peaceful rest for baby AND parents, this baby alert monitor relieves the urge to periodically check on little ones abdominal movements through the night.

Peace of Mind
When my son was 3 weeks old i fell asleep after nursing and my son was laying on my arm – what I didn’t know was that my husband had rolled over to my side of the bed and was partially laying on him. The Oma alerted me and woke me up. We have the Owlet sock too but Im grateful for the simplicity of this device and that it does not need WiFi etc There have been some false alarms since then but it happens infrequently & I’d rather be woken up than miss a real one. We use all in ones with a zipper so I purchased some elastic material used to make clothes and cut it to size and held in place with a safety pin (basically made my own waistband).

The best baby sleep monitor!!!
This gives such peace of mind! It works beautifully, I feel so comfortable knowing it makes a sound when it powers on or off so if the battery were to die in the middle of the night (it hasn’t yet) it would make a sound that wakes me so I would know he was not being monitored any longer. So far only false. Alarm was while he was swaddled. (Which I learned after is not recommended with this monitor.) even when it alarms while Abby is asleep it doesn’t wake him enough to ruin his slumber, just gets him into a less deep sleep. I am already considering buying a second just in case this one were to ever quit working so we wouldn’t have to do a night without it. Affordable, reliable, it’s perfect!

Pretty Great!
So far this little device is pretty great. I love that it is simple and lofi. I did not like the ones with apps and Bluetooth because they gave false alarms. This one has a battery and just works as it should. The only criticism I would have is the alarm is not as loud as other baby sleep monitors. Like the Snuzi is LOUD but it also gives false alarms. So my actual rating would probably be 4.5x If you have a baby monitor on though you would totally hear this one if it goes off. Taps the baby too. It’s definitely given us a lot of piece of mind. We use it for naps and bedtime! Oh one piece of advice I saw from another reviewer that was super helpful – cut an elastic waste band from another piece of baby pants for your kid and use it as a strap. Because not every outfit has buttons or pants.

Works great
Now that I’ve finally used it a few nights on my 2 week old, so far it seems to be working properly. I haven’t had any false alarms. I have set it down a few times before using it to check to make sure it works. After sitting without detecting any movement it does set off the alarm and vibrate. The alarm will not shut off until the device is turned off. (I’m not sure how long it will do that, if theres a timer or until it dies). I read numerous reviews where people commented on the volume, both good and bad. Some were concerned about false alarms waking the baby. Some even described it as loud as a smoke detector. I wouldn’t go that far. My opinion is the alarm isn’t loud enough to startle a soundly sleeping baby awake. I tested that and all my baby did was shift but never opened his eyes. I imagine if he hadn’t been soundly asleep then it could’ve woken him up. The vibration may have helped wake him up but it wasn’t touching him, I just tested the noise. I could’ve waited until the alarm went off then put it in his stomach to see his reaction but I didn’t think about it. So it’s definitely not going to wake up a heavy sleeping parent. I’m a light sleeper but my fiancé, if tired enough, can sleep through a few rounds of his annoying beeping alarm clock. I guess he’d probably eventually wake up but you obviously want to address the alarm promptly, incase it’s not a false alarm. If I have anything else to add, I’ll eventually do an update. But as of right now, my only opinion is it could be a bit louder.

Don’t waste your money
SOOOOO many false alarms. It was great for about a month but now gives me more anxiety than I had before. I’m jumping out of bed multiple times a night freaking out just to find my baby peacefully sleeping and breathing just fine. I would rather it be a false alarm than no alarm at all. But definitely do not bother wasting your money on this one.

Wonderful Concept
I ordered this monitor for my classmate and told her my hope is that it will bring her a lot of tranquility as a new mom, and as her new baby sleeps. She was so grateful for this life-saving gadget and says she will use it every day. She has not had a chance to provide me with feedback yet since she has not given birth yet, but I imagine it will be a great addition to all their baby gear. I had a similar one when my kids were young, and it brought me a great deal of peace of mind.

Not a fan.
I’ve had both this and the Snuza breathing monitor, which I used for 2 older kids, and have to say I really prefer the Snuza.Pros of Levana Oma+:- Clips on well and doesn’t move- Loud alarm and flashing lightCons of Levana Oma+:- False alarms! I’ve twice had it go off when I’m right there and can clearly see my baby breathing. As far as I know the monitor was on correctly, touching just above belly button and the diaper was on tight enough. Regardless of the circumstance false alarms cause serious undue anxiety.- The light that indicates that it’s working flashes every 30 seconds, which I find way too long. When I am doing a quick check on my baby I don’t want to have to stand there and wait and wait to maybe see a little flash that you miss, God forbid you should blink or you can’t see it because it’s covered by a zipper or elastic. This is REALLY annoying to me. The Snuza blinks with each breath, which is far more useful.- Since the indicator light is so infrequent, I’ve tried to just turn the thing off and turn it on again. (Sometimes I’ve forgotten to turn it on in the first place, so I like to double check.) The problem is the on and off buttons are pretty hard to push, and I often end up causing baby to stir. No reason for the buttons to be so hard to push.- Once your baby starts to roll and sleep on their side a little, it’s game over for this gadget. It can’t detect movement at all in this position, where the Snuza has a silicone end that goes right against baby’s skin and can still work on their side. This product isn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t recommend it or buy it again.

This gave me peace of mind with my baby! The alarm went off once while my son was napping and I was able to get to him asap and he was in a really deep sleep. I was so thankful for it in that moment!

I bought this because I wanted to make sure my baby is physically breathing. I didn’t want a device that had to go to my phone and measure oxygen level before alerting me something is wrong. It really made me less anxious at night and while my baby napped. I put this on top of my baby’s woolino and it works fine. Yes there’s a few false alarms but I’d rather have that than a non breathing baby. My LO rolls over now, so when the alarm goes off I know she rolled and put it on the side or her back, then I know she’s breathing while tummy sleeping (we room share). One reviewer mentioned using a stretchy band to keep it on the tummy so even if baby rolls over, it’ll still work. Just place it slight off to the side.Btw amazing battery life. 6 months in and the battery is still good!

Perfect for anxious moms with a fear of SIDS . I am convinced to this day that it saved my baby’s life when she was 3 months old the alarm went off and I rushed over to check on her and she was not breathing. I patted her until she woke up and she gasped in a big breath of air. If I didn’t have this gizmo and the alarm didn’t sound I don’t know if my baby would be here.

I loved it. It was great and gave me peace of mind. While my baby was sleeping the clip in the back cracked. It’s now unusable since I cannot clip it onto anything. We were always careful with it and there is no way to fix this broken piece of plastic.I reached out to the company (since I am still within the 1 year warranty) and they said they don’t cover this type of damage.Very disappointed since I hardly used it and I spend a lot of money for it. Very bad customer support.I have an owlet since 6 years and it still works so I recommend buying the owlet instead.
