The Levoit humidifier is amazing! It’s super quiet, easy to fill, and the large tank lasts a long time. I love the smart controls and adjustable mist settings. Easy, Simple, and Works Great
I took a chance on this. I like the Levoit brand, I have an air purifier by them. It works great. But, there were mixed reviews on many of their humidifiers. This one, in particular, I liked the best because of the size and price but it had zero reviews. On their website, it says “new” so I guess that’s why. But, I am really glad I bought this. It is so quiet, it doesn’t make bubbling or gurgling noises like my Vicks humidifier did. It’s a top fill which makes it really easy to pour the water in. It’s a perfect size too! I keep it on my nightstand. I do have a little washcloth under it just in case it does leak because my old humidifier did all the time, but it has not yet so it’s just a precaution. Despite it being smaller than my old humidifier, when filled to the max fill line it lasts pretty long before needing a refill, which is nice. It doesn’t take very long to clean and comes with a brush to get in the nook and crannies (or you can just use a paper towel). It’s amazing. I also love how simple it is. There was a similar one that connected to an app, but sometimes that stuff doesn’t work right. This has a simple on-off dial and you adjust to how much mist you want coming out. Very easy.Now, something I have realized from scrolling through hundreds of reviews for other Levoit humidifiers and non-Levoit ones, most people don’t know how to use humidifiers properly. First off, you need to read the instruction manual. There you will learn you need to use purified or distilled water. If you don’t want to go and buy either of those from the store constantly, then don’t use a humidifier. I buy distilled water in the jugs from the water aisle. This is especially important if you live somewhere with hard water. I live in Arizona and we have very hard water (and our house has no soft water filter), I used to use tap water in my old warm mist humidifier and there would be so much mineral build-up. I know better now. Apparently, if you use tap water in a cool-mist humidifier, it may cause white dust around the unit. But, since I use distilled I have not had this issue. You will also learn from the manual how and how often to clean it. You should clean it when it’s brand new, you should change the water daily, and you should clean it every 3 days. There are also instructions to do a deep clean if necessary. I use vinegar to clean it as per the instructions every 2-3 days. Also, I make sure to clean every little corner and clean the inside of the top spout. I have seen SO many reviews where people complain of mold (in other models) and this is almost always because they aren’t cleaning their humidifier enough or cleaning it properly. I saw a one-star review and the entire base and inside were filled with dark green mold, they said they hadn’t cleaned it in 3 weeks! That’s crazy! Please don’t do that! As long as you take care of your humidifier, use it right, and clean it right you will have no mold problem.I have had it for 2 weeks now. I live in Arizona so it’s about 5% humidity here. My skin is so dry and after coming back from a Caribbean vacation (where it is very humid), I knew I needed more moisture in the air and this humidifier has done the trick. My skin is doing so much better now. I also have pretty bad allergies and my nose feels much less dry all the time, too which is nice. I highly recommend it!!!

Small but effective
Great little humidifier that’s perfect for winter time. This humidifier holds a lot of water and lasts all night long. We’ve been using it mainly when our children have been sick and I feel as it will be the biggest help to fight off the coughs that winter illnesses can bring. One star is deducted because I cannot easily get the water tank open and closed easily. It’s always a hassle for some reason but nothing that affects functionality.

Easy to fill; not the easiest to clean
I actually have two of these LEVOIT Humidifiers for Bedroom, Quiet (3L Water Tank) Cool Mist Top. I really like the fact that they are top fill so it’s easy to add water. I also got these because other reviewers said they were easy to clean. The first couple of times, they were easy to clean. But then they started to accumulate pink slime after one week.For context, I have one in my bedroom which I have on when I’m sleeping and one in my work room that I have on when I’m working during the day. I used to let them run until the red light goes on, meaning it’s out of water, and I turned them off and they stay off for about 12 hours before I fill them and turn them on again. But in reality, when the red light turns on, there is still some water remaining in the base. So lately, I’ve been emptying the base after the red light turn on, and let them dry when turned off. But even with this method, pink slime will accumulate after a week.There are a couple spots that seemed to accumulate the pink slime more than others. And unfortunately, there are crevices that are just really hard to get at; the tip where the cool steam come out of (picture 1) and the plastic piece underneath that you have to take apart to clean (pictures 2). I took these pictures after I’ve scrubbed them so they look clean.Where I have circled in red in the pictures, the piece in picture 1, I ended up having to attach a toothpick to a stick to reach this spot to clean the crevice ring. I don’t understand why this tube isn’t just a smooth straight up tube, but instead has the “fold” inside that it’s impossible to reach. Even if I stick a toothbrush through the holes, I can’t reach the crevice since it’s folded under. After two winters, I finally decided to just spray the picture 1 spot with kitchen bleach cleaner instead of trying to physically clean it off.For picture 2, I ended up having to use a straw cleaner to clean the crevices. I’m not even sure what this piece is for, so I recently tried running the humidifier without it and it still worked fine.Overall, I like using these humidifiers because my house is really dry during the Midwest winters. Some days, the humidity is as low as 20%. Even thought the use of the humidifiers don’t seem to raise this number too significantly, it helps my nose and eyes from feeling really dry. I just don’t love the weekly cleaning.

Es lo que promete. Si estas buscando algo bueno, efectivo; silencioso y rendidor ya lo encontraste. El trabajo, el resultado y la niebla de agua que genera son mas que suficientes para que quedes muy satisfecho. Vivo en el estado de Durango y el clima es REALMENTE SECO y despertar con la boca y gargantas secas es anécdota. lo uso con agua purificada (de garrafón) para que sea lo mas sana posible ya que la del grifo suele traer impurezas (ya sabes esas cosas).Puede que haya una opinión que cuestione el producto pero revisa bien si no es una irregularidad (que son las menos). Voy a comprar 2 mas.

Definitivamente hace mucho más vapor que un humidificador más barato, es muy silencioso y fácil de usar.Los únicos puntos a mejorar es que no tienen ningún tipo de luz y que yo pensaba que se tendría que llenar menos seguido, pero se tiene que llenar una vez al día si lo dejas prendido.
