A great life lesson for all!
I am completely mesmerized by this story. great life lesson for children and adults. I don’t have any children but reading this story makes me want a child just so I can use this book to read too and re-read over and over again to my child. It teaches so many important life lessons. My kids love this author’s book series! I’ve bought several on the recommendation of another mom friend, and I’ve since gifted them to other moms. Each one has a great story to tell and reinforces positivity and kindness. I love the grandparent/grandchild theme in this one. It’s a really beautiful story and messaging, and my kids love it too! Very deep thoughts on life and emotions
The book shows the similarities in emotions of old age and youth, and how great life is.Not a book for preschoolers. I think this book is appropriate for kids ages 6+

I love how this book parallels childhood emotions and adulthood feelings! The author makes it simple for children to understand the concept of how the perception of life changes as we age, but yet it is so relatable to the way children think and feel. This is a great book for kids to read with a grandparent or older relative! The illustrations are beautiful and there are great activities and discussion topics included!

When we look into the similarities rather than the differences, we are able to relate to each other on a far greater level. We begin to realize that much of what we feel and experience throughout life isn’t so far off from what the person sitting across the room may feel and experience too.
