Litterly the best cat purchase for its price.It conceals the poop sand scoops so well. The size isn’t important to be, but I can see how it might be clunky to others. It gets dusty quick from its surroundings, but easy to clean. So easy to change the bags too, they last a LOT longer than you realize at first.

I love my litter genie! It is the best thing ever with disposing my kittens waste every time I scoop it. Very easy to install the refill bags and I love that it has a built in scissors to cut the bag when it’s full. I highly recommend this product if you have cats.

Holds scent in and easy to use
I was hesitant to get this because I’ve heard mixed reviews but I’m very glad I did. It really does contain the scent well and holds a lot. I did buy refillable bags from another website that are compatible because the original ones are quite expensive. I hope it holds up over time but I’m overall very happy with it.

Wouldn’t have a cat without this!
I highly recommend that anyone that has a cat have one of these beside every litter box. I scoop the litter boxes once a day (or as I pass by them) into the Litter Genie. Odors are sealed in until I change the bag on garbage day. Super simple and effective!

Works well
I bought Litter Genie standard pail. I have 2 cats and I scoop about 2-3 times per day, 2 boxes. I do not use the scooper that came with it. I find it too small and flimsy. I use a much sturdier and larger one. I would not recommend putting the soiled litter directly into the pail. The opening is too small and my aim is not great. Soiled litter inevitably spills around the rim. It’s too messy. I first scoop into a plastic bag as usual and then dump it into the pail. I find that I need to empty the pail twice a week. The plastic “bag” it comes with is very sturdy and can handle the weight. A lot of plastic involved and a bit of extra expense for the refills. That said, it works very well. It saves me countless trips to the trash and there is no odor in the room at all. It has a very low profile so it’s not in the way. It is easy to use. I’ve only had it a few weeks so it hasn’t stood the test of time yet but I wish I had gotten it sooner!

STURDY prevents any unpleasant odors!
I have used this for over 15 years. Amazing no mess no smell. I have 2 indoor cats company always comments on the Cat Litter Genie. I personally feel the ORIGINAL is 100% sturdy compared to the newer model which did not last , due to the height .

I recommend this one. It slides much smoother than the Genie XL. It also has a larger capacity than other brands of waste pails (see photo). I have three cats, so I keep the standard pail in the basement and the XL in the main room. I take out the waste once a week on trash day, so I like this refillable Genie because I can take it out whenever I want and it doesn’t go to waste. Also doesn’t not odor smell anymore! Value for the money.

Love this thing. I’ve had it for 6 years now and it still works great. Keeps the smell in really well.Tip: I don’t bother buying the bags anymore after the initial pack and I just thread a garbage bag through and around the empty packaging (if that makes sense).

Es un excelente producto, no deja salir los olores y es super práctico de usar, tiene una pala incluida y un repuesto para empezar a usarlo de inmediato. Lo malo es que hay que estar comprando los repuestos de bolsas situación que a la larga se volvería costosa. Investigando dentro de los comentarios, me topé con un producto llamado Dooli, mismo que ayuda a evitar estar comprando los repuestos, esto implica un gasto extra al principio, pero me parece que el ahorro a largo plazo vale la pena. De hecho el haber encontrado esa alternativa fue lo que me hizo decidirme por el Litter Genie, de lo contrario no lo habría comprado, por el simple hecho de que para que el bote funcione, se deben comprar las bolsas refill. Aún no pruebo el Dooli, ya que sigo usando la bolsa que incluye el Litter Genie al comprarlo, pero espero usarlo y actualizar el comentario. De cualquier manera, ya sea que se compren los refill, o se compre un adaptador para no comprar refill, se genera un gasto adicional, no basta con el bote.

I bought this kitty litter box based on the reviews and the reviews were right. I love, love, love this kitty litter box. Easy to set-up and clean. I replace my bags every 2nd week (aligns to my garbage day). The box keeps the smell enclosed which is amazing. The replacement bags were pricey but well worth the money. My next kittle litter box will be a XL.
