Solid Toy – very loud – odd vocalization!
Our baby loves this thing -it has three different modes it can switch to, and it’s got a good range of notes and a crisp sound (for the music part, more on this later). It has an animal mode as well, and a mode where it plays longer “compositions.”The plastic itself feels a little on the cheaper side, as it feels very “light” and hollow, which isn’t a problem but it’s missing a certain something there that for me helps give it some real toy feel. It is a good size for holding for older kids or for sitting on the floor and playing for young tots. But I think by far the biggest complaint is the “animal mode.” This mode, it’s trying to get the baby/child to find the animal it names. However, the voice is extremely difficult to understand (it genuinely sounds like a poor English translation) and it uses odd words in places, “Now find, the Livestock!” (instead of cow). So, definitely a big question mark on an otherwise reasonable toy.

Not being able to hear what it’s saying
It’s not working correctly…and the sound is so quiet you can barely hear what it’s saying

Cow is “catch-ow” who knew? LOL
I got this for my grandson who likes it. It is light so he can pick it up easily at 9 months and twirls it around in the air in his hands and with his feet while laying down. The lights are quite bright and grab his attention. The sound level, while not adjustable is ok and is not too loud or too quiet. The music and the animal descriptions are okay except for one that puzzles us and makes us laugh. The cow is strange. It says “catch-ow” and then moos. All the other animals (horse, cat, dog – neighs, meows, barks… etc) announce the name of the correct animal, albeit with a bit of a British accent, which is charming, but the cow is very strange indeed.
