Just completed two weeks in Turkey (Istanbul and Cappadocia) with just this backpack and a smaller day pack. I used compression packing cubes (BAGAIL), which really helped get two pants, 4 shirts, laptop and Kindle, an extra backpack for souvenirs, a pair of sneakers (wore my jacket, hiking sandals and two shirts on the plane), a few accessory clothing pieces and toiletries for the two weeks. I mostly wore it on my back (not bad for a 68 year old woman — but I did wear weighted vests on walks to bone up the whole month before), but also found the two handles on it useful in the airport. I checked it once but on two other flights it went in the overhead bins. (It weighed in at 20 lbs) I’ve only had it a month, but would recommend the buy, especially for the price!

This is just what I needed for travel
I will be making some airline flights in the near future but since I don’t have a lot of money, I needed a good carry-on sized bag I could then walk around with comfortably. This seems to do the trick of letting me carry all of the things I need when paired with a personal item bag but also is a comfortable backpack. Exactly what I wantedThe size is perfect for carry-on limits and is fairly roomy inside. Getting to the things inside isn’t the easiest without opening the bag up all the way but it does have a front pocket to make things a little easier. There isn’t much for padding or protection inside but since it’s a soft bag I didn’t expect there to be. If you’re carrying anything breakable, pack clothing around the exterior to give some protection. Otherwise, the build quality seems good, though I haven’t had the chance to really put it to the test yet with extended travel. I will update as soon as I do*luggage locks not included*

Zipper can withstand abuse
Ok this bag… I don’t use it for traveling, although I can see how it would work out perfect for that. I’ve been using it to deliver items to various businesses because I hurt my back and have trouble holding onto large items straight out in front of me. The weight of the items is distributed on the whole of my back and is easier to take than in a medium size tote. I’m 5’7” and the bag fits just right but it is adjustable so it’d be comfortable for just about anybody. I chose this bag over all of the other ones I researched because of its features. One of the biggest reasons was because this one has one of the largest size main compartments. It has an additional level that you unzip or zip up depending on what you need at the time. I’ve done what I call the zipper test. Where you try and cram as much as you can in there then just start zipping it up. Poke things in that are sticking out, then zip some more until you finally get everything in. During this time the zipper either fails and separates or holds true. I’ve done this zipper test several times and have had no problems. I try not to do that very often but it’s good to know that the zipper will do its job. There aren’t too many pockets. Sometimes it’s better to have things simple and basic than to have so many pockets you can’t find anything.

It just arrived today as a gift for a relative. I purchased it in lavender. The color is beautiful and the fabric seems durable yet light. I cannot actually speak to the durability because it is a gift and has not been used yet however I looked at the zipper, the interior lining and the embellishments on the outside, including the straps, and they seem fairly durable. It looks like a well made item, especially for the price. The inside is large and has a good amount of depth as depicted in the pictures I attach. It unzips fully to allow access to put items in the bag and it also has an expansion option. I would like to purchase another one as a gift for someone else or even myself. I have a more expensive brand name expandable travel bag just like this one except mine is smaller. I also paid five times as much for the name brand item. This would be very good for carry on or for a road trip.

This pack is very high volume but in a very compact form. It fit everything I needed and then some for my carry on. It saved me a ton of space in my checked luggage when I could divert some things to my pack. It brought me peace of mind as well to carry 1 change of clothes and my toiletries on my back instead of in my checked luggage. The style is simple but polished. The quality of the materials is really good. I stuffed it very full of things and the zippers and stitching show no signs of strain. There’s a prompt here in the review form to speak about a *charging port” but I don’t see one at all. There’s also a prompt to talk about a “smell” but I didn’t experience any smells/odors at all. The backpack is highly functional and I put it to very good and rigorous use during my trip this month. The price for everything you get out of it is also really excellent!I only wish that the laptop pocket were closest to my back instead of a pocket that is much more accessible to someone who may try to steal things without your noticing. So I ordered myself some TSA approved luggage locks so that I don’t have that worry lingering. I also wish it had a water bottle pocket cuz it was unfortunate to have to hold my water bottle the entire time versus tuck it in my pack when I’m not drinking from it.
