Recommended to me by a feeding therapist
These were recommended to me by my sons feeding therapist. They are easy to use and help him understand eating. He ha sa high palate and some oral motor issues and these have helped us a ton when it comes to helping him transition to pureed foods. They’re easy to use. You can use either end. It has a temperature changing color that will let you know when food is hot. Great value!

Perfect. My baby has feeding issues and is in feeding therapy and these are what was recommended. Easy to use and hold. Not too big of spoon area, the metal holds really well. Well worth the $5.

These are super odd and the baby can’t make sense of them.
We usually use Dr Brown’s spoons, which are rounder and soft tipped and our baby just can’t stand these ones due to the shape and texture.These may be great for others, but for us, these have been relegated to use for the dogs at this point.

I am reviewing the “Nuby Heat Sensitive 2-N-1 Dual Ended Spoons – 2 pack, Girl”This 2 pack of 2 in 1 double ended spoons are very useful! They are kind of smaller than I thought they would be, not smaller, but “dinkier” if that makes sense!My daughter loves exploring with her spoons right now and these are cool because she can switch between the metal and the silicone side!I like them because I can kind of cut apart her food (more like mash it apart with the metal side) and then feed her with the silicone side OR she can practice doing that herself! My daughter is 2, and these are for 6+ months but they work great for her!!The best part, besides this being a 2 pack, is that the silicone side is also a temperature taker! You can tell if your little ones food is too hot if the silicone side turns white! That is my favorite feature for sure! And it worked great! I tested it with multiple things and it works wonderfully!I trust and recommend these for sure!

Where were these when I had kids!!
These are great! I was surprised how long they were, 6 1/2 inches from tip to tip, but since you are using one side, there is plenty of hand hold on the side you are not using. The silicone tip is perfect size for spooning out small amount for baby’s mouth, curved great to feel comfortable for baby as well as cleaning the drips. When they are learning to hold the utensil they can use either side and eventually the stainless steel side is great for understanding the feel and size before they are ready for your family tableware. I now have grandkids who come visit so I keep items at my house so the mom’s don’t have to pack and bring so much stuff in the car. These spoons are perfect for many years!I am showing two photo’s to depict how the temperature detection works (to know if the food/liquid is too hot). one where the water is at 105 degrees and you see the blue silicone is still blue and if I stir the water with my finger it doesn’t feel too hot either. The second is when the water is now at 115 or so degrees and you clearly see the blue spoon has turned white. It didn’t take but a few seconds. Remove it out of the water/food and the spoon begins to turn back or run under cold water and it returns in seconds. It says to clean upper rack in dishwasher, or hand wash, but do not use in microwave (obviously). These will make great gifts for new mom’s, even ones who already have kids. Highly recommend!
