The suction is real, thumbs up from our Hulk baby
Ok, so we have tried multiple types and brands of suction plates and bowls, from the high-end muted-color silicone genre popular with hipster granola parents to the heavier plastics, and not much could withstand the sheer force of our little guy, who is apparently Baby Thor…? Until this plate – he tries and keep trying, but on most surfaces and most importantly his high-chair, he can’t rip these plates off. Personally I’d love it if the material was a bit thicker, but that’s just nitpicking and doesn’t really make a difference – this stuff stays put for us, and there is less mess on the floor or on the baby as a result.It’s easy to clean – while the label says it’s dishwasher-safe, I’m a bit iffy on plastics in the dishwasher in any case so I opt for hand washing (takes 30 seconds including drying it off with a dish towel, no lingering odors or funkiness) but my husband has definitely run it in the dishwasher and it came out looking new and unwarped.The sections are bug enough to accommodate a real toddler meal, unlike some other plates we’ve tried. The colors are a bit meh, but hey, life isn’t Instagram and Pinterest boards. We ended up ordering the bowl version as well, and put away all our other toddler wares for now.

Lighter weight than expected
I was expecting something a little more substantial and it’s construction, but these will serve the purpose for an occasional meal at grandma and grandpa‘s before they grow out of them.

My 1 1/2 year old ripped it off the table the first time he used it
They don’t really suction very well. One out of three suctions doesn’t stay to the table. They are good and definitely worth the price being only 3$ a piece . But if you want plates that are very hard for a toddler to remove then these aren’t the ones. They work good if you just want the plate to stay in place but the first time my son ate off it , he ripped it off the table and beans went flying all over. I will still use them bc it’s better then a normal plate . They don’t come off easy once stuck but toddlers don’t give up especially mine so they will get it off after a few try’s. It’s good for older kids probably who know better then to pull it off . It’s definitely good for eating bc with a regular plastic plate on a wooden table would slide . So it’s like a win lose situation.

Works great for baby led weaning!
These stick to our white Ikea table beautifully. It was even difficult for my MIL to pull it off!! We haven’t honestly tried to stick it to other tables yet though. I will try to update this if it doesn’t stick to others. I love the lightweight feel to it and that it is easy to clean and dishwasher safe on the top rack. It also have groves in the sections that make it easier to scoop things out so you don’t end up with wasted food in a pointed corner that your little one can’t get out! I was worried these wouldn’t stack well as we don’t have a lot of space in out kitchen but the suctions fit perfectly in the compartments so they stack no problem which is amazing. We have a Fischer price booster seat that we use for our 8 MO and we love these plates so much that we got rid of her tray and just buckle her in and push her right up to the table to feed herself. We do baby led weaning where she feeds herself solid foods (we skipped purees) so it can be quite messy but we just throw her plate in the dishwasher and wipe down the table and ta da! I am ordering more of these:)

Toddler must have!!
Life saver!!!!!! Get both the plates and the bowls!! Don’t let your little one watch you take this off because that’s how they’ll figure it out themselves. But now I can serve him yogurt or cereal and know it’s not gonna get poured on the floor 😁 he does throw the food now instead of the bowl/plate when he’s finished but it’s honestly way less mess than him dumping all the contents at once since I can stop him before it gets too messy. If you don’t have these bowls and plates, you’re driving yourself mad! Unless you have a dog then do you boo LOL. Make sure the suction cups are a lil wet before sticking on surface for max suction. Oh by the way the bowls only came with 1 lid that threw me off because 2 bowls so I expected 2 but honestly prolly won’t use the lid so I don’t care. But if you do, FYI.

We have 21 month old twins. We are constantly trying different plates and sippy cups. I swear we have 1 of just about every kind. I even got the nice silicone ones. They were to big for their trays and they figured them out in no time. However these trays are well worth the money. We use these daily and I’m buying another seat now to keep in their diaper bag. They worked well when we went out to eat. They are small enough To easily fit in the diaper bag but the sections are decently sized. The smaller sections can fit about 2 ozs or half a tu b of baby food. I could see the suction cups not working on some surfaces. But so far that hasn’t been an issue for us. We have used on high chair trays, booster seats, and wood tables without issues. For They Money I would highly recommend!

Bowls do the job, wish there were two lids
We wanted a simple bowl with lid to keep in the diaper bag and be ready to use at restaurants and these bowls do the job. We are overall happy with the purchase.The suctions work well on the right surface, which seems to be about half the time. On solid surfaces like stainless steel tables or other really smooth tables they hold very solidly and my toddler is usually distracted and onto the next challenge before he gets the bowl loose. The suctions cannot hold on surfaces with much texture or wood grain – but this is just the nature of suction cups and was what I expected.I am disappointed that there is only one lid for two bowls, it just doesn’t make sense. It would be nice to have one bowl ready to go with lid so when I take the dirty bowl out of the diaper bag I can put a new clean one right back – but because there is only one lid, I have to wait until the dirty lid is washed before putting it back in the bag – which really makes the second bowl pointless in our case.

The lid does not close properly. It is a fight every time to get it to shut. They have made it so tight that unless it is closed exactly the right way, it will not stay shut and just pops open. Did not return it as we didn’t have the time, and at least the suction works well.

Los platos tienen excelente tamaño para un bebé que apenas está aprendiendo a comer. Viene en colores brillantes y llamativos. Se adhieren muy bien a las superficies, aunque mi bebé es demasiado inquieto y termina por arrancarlo después de varios intentos. Ordené un 2-pack, pero definitivamente voy a volver a ordenar otros. Son resistentes y de muy buena calidad.
