It is not 38 inches!
This is not 38 inches long! It is 36 inches leaving a 2 inch gap at the bottom of the pack and play. I measured the bottom of the pack and play to be sure I had the right size ordered and the bottom of the pack in place is 38 inches. This mattress is only 36.

Fits the babytrend pack and play perfectly. Love that the thickness is comparable to a baby mattress. Great quality, soft but not too soft. Feel safe using this for a newborn for supervised sleeping. Pack and play sheets fit. We use this in our office where there is always someone watching our newborn, I would wait to use this for unsupervised sleeping till baby is older.
