Constructed of diecast and stamped steel materials, all components of these locks for cabinets come in a beautiful corrosion resistant brass plated finish. This small lock set features a beveled bolt and fits up to 7/8 inch thick panels. The locks are not keyed the same. I just needed a simple, and durable, lock for one of my desk drawers and it works perfectly. The thing is made out of metal brass and feels very durable. I did a stress and theft test, pulling and tugging on my drawer while it was locked and it ain’t opening. Not unless I used a crow bar or something. Plus if you have a brown wooden cabinet like me, that golden metallic color looks really nice compared to a silver colored lock.
